I can tell you this F4F. There's going to be a couple of folks that get coal in their stockings for sure. I'm going to go to the grocery store and buy a bag tomorrow. I might need to find some switches to send some too. LOL

Of course there's alot of people on here that need to get something extra special because they have such big and generous hearts. Just wish I had some of Monika's Brugs to share with them. I personally would love to have Anouschka' or a couple other Brugs from Germany. What am I talking about. I'd be happy with anything anyone shared with me. I'll stop dreaming now and get my feet back on the ground.

Sorry I'm naughty - it's in my blood! lol! Seriously though - I have to say this. In the past year there have been so many new & very nice people appear here on the board. It's nice to know I can get home from work late at night & check the forum to see what kind of great things are happening in the lives of my online group of brugger friends on a daily basis. Seems like we're one big happy family at times. Never a dull moment! :) I wouldn't want it to change for anything! Each & everyone one of you are very important to myself & others. And you have no idea how much another person can seriously enjoy what goes on here everyday. I'm very thankful for all of you! (I'm starting to ramble - can you tell?) :) Anyway - to make it short & more to the point! Thank you for making this group - the group of people it is today! I don't think it can get any better than this! You & yours have a Safe & Happy Holiday Season!

I agree Mike and I just sent Santa Clause a letter explaining that you were just trying to help an elderly lady in her quest to own more brugs and that he shouldn't worry about her bank account being EMPTY. LOL

As for the rest of the people here you truely are a remarkable group of individuals. I just love each of you to death and appreciate you more than they will ever know.

I can't wait to read all the different post that each one of you write. I personally don't care if it's off topic or not. Everyone here seems to really care about each other and are always willing to help someone with their brug/gardening problems or sharing other plants within the group. Shoot as far as I'm concerned, this group here is better than family. Family always wants to know why you spend so much momey on plants for the yard instead of something for them. LOL The people here can relate to buying pretty plants/flowers for the yard/home.

I love this group too. I belong to a fishing forum also that is statewide and after getting to know a lot of the people who post frequently we realized there are about 40 of us that live within an hour drive of each other and now we have get togethers a couple of times a year and visit with each other at the lake on weekends. It is a lot of fun to make new friends who enjoy your same interests and live close enough to visit. I wish there were more garden web members close enough to me to visit each other. I met one guy today from the Texas forum. We met at a store on the way to the lake and we exchanged a couple of tropicals. He and his wife are going to go fishing with us soon. I am with my husband 24 hours a day since we work together and we run out of things to talk about in the evenings so I really enjoy checking in here and visiting with all my new friends. Thanks for being such a nice group of people. You all mean a lot to me already.

After reading how so many are stressed by being naughty :), I had a long talk with Santa by email and explained the psychological consequences by being so petty and witholding of gifts and affection for naughty children.

Santa was sad and gradually came to see that he himself had been naughty for CENTURIES for being so petty and withholding of himself and his gifts naughty children.

So, while normally he would have to withold nice things from himself and give himself a piece of coalfor being naughty, he faced with this dilemma and realized that it was stupid to punish himself, Santa redid his whole thought process and decided that naughty people would get great gifts too, including himself.

BUT, then he felt guilty about being so petty and witholding toward naughty folks that he decided to make amends to the naughty folks. To make up for his past behavior, he decided that he would bring triple gifts and triple brug and dat success in the coming year to all of us on the Brug forum who have been naughty.

If you have been good all year, well, that's wonderful, and you will get your normal portion, he mentioned. But if you've been bad, you get triple. The good news? We've still got time to live it up before the 25th. ARRIBA!!

Mike I forgot to mention it to Santa at the time that I first wrote to him--sorry,-- so I just sent him a follow-up note a few minutes ago to let him know of your concern.

Thankfully global warming had him, Mrs. Claus, and the elves stripping off all those winter clothes, and he was sitting on the kitchen floor in the buff with his hatless head leaning back on the bottom shelf of the fridge trying to keep cool and taking a break when my email came in.

But he got to the computer and sent me this note, "Marian is a fox and is free from criticism. " Unfortuanately for Marian, at this point, she has not been bad enough to yet get her triple rewards from being naughty (above), so she is scheduled to get only her normal fine awards.

Perhaps we could...uh...volunteer to be..uh..bad with Marian--strictly out of altruistic motivations of course--so she can reap the benefits of Santa's amend effort mentioned earlier in this string.

So, Marian, let me volunteer, strictly out of the goodness of my heart of course, to volunteeer my help in securing your receipt of triple blessings from Santa.

Hummm, I'm a little concerned about the above messages. They sound a little strange.
As for my age, well a lady never tells her age. Let's just say I'm old enough to know better. But young enough to do it anyway. Mike is being bad again, he's lying. I never told him I was 28. I haven't seen 28 in forever. He's pushing for those triple presents/blooms or whatever. I'm fairly sure I'm old enough to be his MOTHER, maybe even his GRANDMOTHER.....LOL Didn't you say you still live at home Mike?

And Jim, the only Fox around here was on the collar of one of my winter coats and someone scolded me for wearing a dead animal so I gave the coat to Goodwill.

Mike, your bag of SWITCHES and COAL are going in the mail tomorrow.

Think we're in trouble?? :) I haven't been switched since I was six & my grandmother did it because I came carrying a hummingbird nest to her that I had taken out of her rose bush! It had two eggs in it & I'll never forget the look on her face! Her name was Gertrude & I miss her to this day! I'm not sure if she switched me for bringing her the hummingbird nest or because I was crying & screaming 'Dirty Gerty! Dirty Gerty!' at her afterwards - as I ran around the yard crying! And Marian - my grandfather (John) was a coal-miner for quite a few years. He & my grandmother eventually opened their own grocery store. Our family is originally from West Virginia & the original 40 acre homestead is still owned by several members of our family. I was actually born in Oak Hill, Wv. See what your two words 'switches' & 'coal' have drudged up? Each word you used has a very special meaning to me. Thank you very much for reminding me of days gone by! It's nice to reminisce at times - especially during the Holiday Season!

Marian, Marian, you no longer have to stifle yourself about revealing your age. I think that I was reading in Cosmopolitan last week that the REAL ladies now talk about their age and weight with pride- the more of both,the merrier.

oh!, oh wait a minute, that wasn't Cosmopolitan, it was Biker News. It is also haute couture in the mag to show your midriff-especially if it pokes out, have your hair stringy, and be straight-look tough. Best done with a mild snarl!
