I'd do nothing, but give it bright but indirect light & leave it alone for a while.

Let it come around w/ signs of new growth & in the meantime, you can be reading up on it.

thanks pirate girl. My co-worker brought it to me today, it was really sweet of her. There was a little spider living there, but ofcourse I had to get rid of it. I think I'm going to keep it at work, until I see that it has improved, then I will repot it.

Maybe slow down a bit pls Nae, why are you eager to repot it? What purpose would that serve? If you can't say, I'd suggest against it (for now).

I can't tell what size pot that is, but they don't need lots of room, certainly not that bit of plant. Also, do you know what mix to use? I'd suggest you read around here under that plant name, there's lots of posts w/ useful info.

To start plants often need time more than anything else & w/ that -- detailed observation; let the plants appearance over time indicate what it wants/needs.

Nae, your little plant will take a while to start to grow, just leave it in the pot water only when dry and in no time you will have a very nice looking Oxypetallum night blooming crerus, here a pic of some cuttings I took last year and it took about 3 weeks before they showed any new growth and now I have repotted them into there own pots for my jungle, lots of light and fresh air is about all they need there at this time of year, no need to feed it at this time of year just let it do its own thing.

Pirate girl: thank you for your feed back. The plant is in a 8" plastic pot. I thought maybe potting it to a smaller pot was going to be better for it, but I will follow your suggestion and slow down a bit. I don't know what mix to use for it, as a matter of fact I don't even know as of yet, what mix the plant is in right now. I will, however as you recommended read around and learn about the plant.

As PG recommends, there have been (and, I daresay, will be) thousands of words written on this plant at this Forum - search for 'NBC', initialized or spelled out, will yield you some valuable information and hours of reading pleasure with which you can turn your plant into a mature, flowering specimen.
