Question from newbie.
Last year I bought Minneila Tangelo and planted it outside. Last few months I noticed multiple problems
- younger leaves turning yellow, and it is appears they start to get yellow from the base of leaf (although it is hard to tell)
- some older leaves (but some not so old leaves as well) have yellow spots with yellow veins
- whole branches turning yellow
- tree shedding fruit
- there is at least one fresh completely unaffected branch, so not all tree is sick
- noticed some damaged bark around place there store tag was
After review of this site http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ch142, I decided that leaves look somethat like they are nitrogen deficient but I don't see how it is possible since my husband put stake with fertilizer next to tree (close enought to give potentially root burn) and I added small amount of "Citrus tone" in March and this month. I wonder if it is root burn actually
