Kansas poem

It has been snowing here in KC since Dec.7 About every 2-4 days we get a short break.

With cabin fever setting in, no photos to post unless you like conifer tips contrasting with white, you begin to look for alternate forms of entertainment. Gardening was my forte now I have digressed to this pittance in order to survive and pray to get revived.

Right now don't come to Kansas...this poem best describes our plight with no end in site.

A Kansas Poem

It's winter in Kansas!

And the gentle breezes blow

Seventy miles an hour

At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Kansas

When the snow's up to your butt

You take a breath of winter

And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful

So I guess I'll hang around

I could never leave Kansas

I'm frozen to the ground

Dave
