when to fertilize repotted citrus

I have searched through about 100 posts to find a specific answer and can't find one. I repotted my Improved Meyer, Meiwa Kumquat, and 2 Owari Satsumas in Al's mixture of equal parts of turface, granite, and pine bark fines. Man it drains great and don't have to water as often as I thought even in this hot Texas sun. They are in 14" terra cottas but I feel they need some sort to fertilizer since my soil has no kind of nutrients. I have Vigro citrus fertilizer ut dont know if I should just put about a tablespoon in each pot to give them a little nutrients.

Thanks,

Colby
