Wow they look good meyermike. I love the Washington naval trees. How often do you fertilize? Also, I am curious to know what you have in the grapefruit pot (looks like little balls)?

Your plants are incredible...I'm jealous! What's your plan to green up the others? Thanks again for all your help with my 4.1.1 mix. It is really working out.

Those little balls may be the savior of my plants this summer just sprinkled on yesterday...Osmocote Plus...I started another thread explaining my situation and I hope my plants do just as well this summer as they have done on just FP up till yesterday..

Josh here seems to have great success using both together and his plants are beauties!! So with a little of encouragement, I am going to give it a whirl, since most if not every other fertilizer has failed my plants needs..

Let's see what happens, and I will report and post pictures of what my plants look like at summers end..

You are correct about Osmocote - I mix a small amount into my container soils at the
time of planting/re-potting, and then I fertigate with FP every couple of weeks. I
use a 4-month slow release, which gives a single-season boost to the soil. There
are longer-acting fertilizers, but I prefer to play it safe.

By the way, Mike, my 'Hummel's Sunset' looks like yours right now...the pale/cream
colored leaves are a bit brown and blotchy. I think it's a combo of the cold dew and
the warm sun. I remove these ugly leaves as the clean new leaves grow.

Wow Mike...and I thought I had a problem. How many plants do you have now? Your plumerias are way ahead of mine!! My gardenia looks so sad compared to mine! I have been feeding FP and I can see the changes in the foliage. It is taking some time, nut it definetly is working. Thanks for changing my fertilizer. I wont stop the FP now. This is going to be a very exciting summer for me and my tropical fruits. What plumeria do you have Mike? The small 6 inch grapefruit is that the ruby red?

I sent you an email. I actually have sent you 2 emails. I know your a very busy man but if you get the chance, please read them and email me. I really like that jade. Where did you find it? IS that a Logees plant? Hmmm...don't know if I would buy it from them if it is! I still have a couple dollar credit to use. How many plumeria do you have now? What varieties are they? I wish you could see my keylime tree. This is one imprseeive citrus! Must be that they are more vigorous than most citrus. This tree is a little over a year old now and has tripled in size. The tree is finally loaded with flowers, and I mean LOADED!! Too bad they are not fragrant. Kind of strange to me. Another mis representation of Logees. They describe it as being fragrant unless my tree is some alien mutant that does not produce fragrant flowers! Oh well...the Oro Blanco makes up for it. My other Oro is still potted but cut baxck to stubs. I can't give up on it even though for it to make a comeback would take a miracle! My Meyer is doing excellent despite falling over and damaging the surface of the trunk. It is now healing and I bought this huge sand bucket at Big Lots for $5.00!! All I need to do is make some holes in the plastic for drainage and it will be all set! It has handles on it and everything!! Well now that you and zecowsay have blooms on your Oro's I am crossing my fingers that mine will bloom! I still need to post a picture of the new one. Hopefully this one will take off. The tree itself is a lot larger than the first one and it looks even healthier.

That is a red ruby, and I am not sure if I should pluck the fruit..lol. Does anyone have any ideas?

Be prepared to be wowed! This is one awesome tree and the flowers are incredable. I didn't think that any citrus would rival the meyer with it's fragrance but after having my own Oro bloom, it's hard to tell. Four Winds may be more costly but the trees are very nice. I know you will be happy.

I think 4winds has gained about 20 customers since the start of the year from word of mouth, and who know how many bottles of FP have been sold on my account..So many that FP spokesman had to post on my thread..lol

You guys are right but Mike, personally I why you recommend the Foliage Pro to everyone. Man, you should see how well my plants are doing now. Some of them better then others. I think it just takes longer for some of them to grow but not my keylime! I have been giving it a weak feeding with the white vinegar and it has responded very well. I all ready had to repot my grafted avocado and I just got that in April! That FP really does work and as far as Four Winds goes I really think they are an example of how you pay for what you get. The trees are very healthy and you can tell that they have been in great care. Nice thick trunks and nice amount of branches. These trees are just awesome!! Not what you get from Logees greenhouses(LOL)!
