Hey Aaron. To go along with John, I will try and address your answers. Sun: Plenty Fertilizer: John hit it on the nose. Maybe you can find a fertilizer that provides Ca and Mg and use a ratio close to what John says? I use Foliage Pro. The ratio is which is 9 3 6, provides Ca and Mg and it does wonders for my container trees. pH: I would call your tap water provider and find out what pH you are at. Most likely it's hard water and you will have to use vinegar. If your water solution is too alkaline, over 8.0, the your nutrients will not be available until you lower it making your nutrients available, making your leaves yellow as you can see. Temps: Until your root zone reaches a high of 50/55 degrees or better on a consistent basis, you will lack nutrients within your tree. That is a cause of severe yellowing as you see. Time release: It won't work in your pots unless temps are optimal in order to be released. I am not sure at what temps though. I can't recall, but certainly above 55 degrees and lower than 90. Wooden dowel or barbecue stick: I would invest in one of these to make sure you are not over watering at this time of the year. Your root zone could still be moist when you think it's dry. Sulking cold wet roots will not take up nutrients and cause your fine roots to die of, leaving your plant susceptible to pests, and cause the yellowing that you see. Flushing your pots: If you are using a peaty mix, then your mix more than likely harboring accumulated salts from fertilizers and tap water that can kill off your roots and cause the yellowing that you see. Running fresh water through your potted plant once a month for at least i minute or more will solve that. I forgot to ask you what kind of mix you use? It's always first and most important! In short: Raise your temps to above 50 degrees # 1, and make sure your mix can work for your roots in those cold temps when wet. Check your mix for moisture with a wooden dowel pushed into the root zone and water when it feels dry. Use a good fertilizer that provides all the nutrients your tree needs and in the right ratio, that is made available right away that you are in control of. Make sure your pH is lowered if above 8.0. You can use vinegar every time you water. Give your tree plenty of sunlight, use a mix that is very porous allowing you to water frequently with no fear of root rot and salt deposits. You should see your trees turn a nice green and flower for you soon! Here is a couple of pics I took tonight for you:-) Something is wrong with my camera, but you can see a little. If you plan on leaving it outside in those temps, you may not loose your tree if it's in a good porous mix, but it may not color up until the roots are warmer than 50 degrees. Highly unlikely you have Greasy Spot. You see that in the high humidity states with outdoor citrus. Unless you live in a steam sauna, that would be just about impossible in your house :-) I suspect we have low light issues, possible watering issues and either soggy soil, or hydrophobic potting mix (not absorbing the water). You don't mention what potting mix your tree is in, that helps us to know what's going on in the root system. You don't mention what fertilizer you're using or how often you're fertilizing. The browning at the tips can be due to watering issues or over-fertilizing or fertilizing with the wrong type of fertilizer (causing nitrogen burning due to a build up of nitrogen by products - biuret). So, more info, please on light, fertilizer, potting mix, watering, etc. And, to load multiple photos in one message, upload all your photos to Photobucket.com (fix your orientation - if you're snapping photos with your iPhone, take them in landscape with your volume buttons facing down), then copy and paste the HTML string into the body of your message. You can paste in all the photos' HTML strings, and they will then ALL appear in your message. Hello. Okay I hate to tell you this but with me living in zone 6, I consider myself to be pretty darn experienced with growing citrus in containers. The biggest problem most people have is soil. I also hate to tell you this but Miracle Grow soil is GARBAGE for ANY CITRUS tree. It ticks me off that they market a "Citrus" mix when clearly, it is not good for citrus at all! It is still WAY TO HEAVY on it's own, and it must be mixed with perlite. If your going to spend your money on the MG citrus mix, your going to want to mix it with perlite. I would recommend a 50/50 mix of both. I also tell people to fill there container that they are going to plant in. Put the filled pot in the location your going to grow your tree in, and water the soil. Go ahead and drench it. Then see just how long the soil stays wet. If it dries out in a day or two, go ahead and plant it. I have been growing citrus for quite a long time now but only in the past 3-4 years have I been able to buy a tree report it, and keep it happy! I had to experiment with many different mixes until I found what worked for me and my trees. I have used a variation of the gritty mix. I just had a heck of a time trying to find all the components to make it. Lastly, I have to tell you, you are in great hands here. Patty, John, Mike, Josh, and many other great people here broke my pattern of buying trees and then losing them over the winter of the same year. Just keep us posted as to how your tree is coming along. I am sure once you get your soil situation resolved you will have a happy tree. Right now I have a meyer lemon tree that I have now had for 2 years. It has 8 fruits on it. 3 of which are really big and then 5 that are about average. Right now it has flower clusters on every branch tip, and I even have small baby fruits developing. This is typical and one of the reasons I love this tree! Andrew

That is a very nice looking tree. I have 3 tangerine trees, 2 Meyer lemon trees, a lemonade tree, a Meiwa kumquat tree and 2 seed grown Fukushu kumquat trees that are from seed. All of my trees are doing great but only my 2 fukushu trees look as good as your tree as pictured. You probably have nothing to worry about. Citrus trees aren't even close to perfect. enjoy your tree and may it grow well and produce.
