thank you for allowing me to be part of your brug of the month club . i really think people like you make this forum strong by doing things like this . if i can ever help again , please, yell.

actually i would like to thank everyone for being in the group and for contributing sooo much. this is a great group with friendly forums . it seems like everyone brings something to the table........ posts like:

and my personal favorite.................going shopping with eddie lol lol

from variegation to seedling pics this group seems to have it all .

we are looking into having a live digtal feed . so next time i go shopping pull up a chair and join us . each time we go to a show , we stop at every nursery around . its a tropical paradise and i'm always amazed with the plant life i see .

Eddie, I agree Kylie is a great woman, kind, caring, sharing beautiful woman inside and out, and this place just wouldnt be the same without her. We Wuv her :)
Yeah, we kinda like havin you around too, lol. Seriously you're a great guy and I am glad you post more now! Definitely a great addiion to our group :)

How cool that would be to come along for the ride and watch you guys. I'm excited, I cant wait..did I say that already? lol. Hey, maybe you could get your own plant shopping/care show goin..that would be cool. You start out streaming live to your website..then you could get on PBS and take the world shopping! Every Sat we could tune into the Eddie & Jeri show!
OK maybe I'm getting carried away, but I am so hyped up on soda and coffee right now...dang I wish it weren't so cold out

Also--there is a need for another 'good read' on brugs--when can we take a peek at your book? We would all so support you in that endeavor! I personally am really looking forward to that!

I wish I would have come across this forum last August BEFORE I placed an order with Ty-ty. I ordered a bunch of stuff... all said "fall shipment"...fall came and went and no trees... I had called several times where I was given the run around and finally told that they only ship when trees were dormant and I would get my order in Jan-Feb. Although I felt like this was false advertisement since everything said fall shipment, it did make sense to me, so I patiently awaited my order in January. Already not feeling quite right, I stayed on top of it and they heard from me at least once a week from the beginning of January. Persistence pays off... to a point. I was able to diseminate from the different calls, they really are just a middle man (false advertising again). They got different parts of my order from different sources... which wouldn't be so bad if they used really reliable sources, but I think they probably just use the cheapest to make the most money. I finally did receive my order... in full... not a single thing missing out of an over $650 order. In that order I had three larger blueberry bushes. Who ever their supplier is for those is pretty decent. They look pretty good and had a good bareroot base on them. As for pretty much everything else in my order, it appeard that someone had taken a good yank on the tree trunk and pulled it up by hand without any digging as most trees had very little to no roots left... the pecan trees I ordered must have been harder to yank out of the ground due to their tap root, so it appears that some Sherlock decided to take a shovel and chop the offending tap root off so they could finish yanking said tree out. Obviously, these trees won't survive... The blueberry bushes look to be very promising, and I'm glad that at least something I got seems to be worth while, but everything else either looks like it definately will not survive or would shock me if it did. I will not be ordering from them again... wish I knew who their supplier was for the blueberry bushes though... I'd definately order from them!! =)

haha, they threatend to subpoena me on youtube when I complained about the diseased plants they sent me. They are rip off scam artist that somehow is still in business. Stay Away from them like the plague, and post reviews everywhere. They may spend all there money on fancy lawyers but none on there plants. They can there name removed from watchdog site, but they cant do it to all other sites like yelp, ripoffreport, etc.

"Any other advice would be welcome." Next time, don't order from TyTy!! This place has a terrible reputation for both plant quality and customer service. In fact, they got so many negative reviews from the Garden Watchdog that they threatened a lawsuit unless they were removed from that review site. But you can still research them online and the reviews continue to be uniformly bad as is their BBB rating. They also do business under a whole bunch of aliases as well. Good luck with your trees.......I hope they are at least alive when they arrive :-)

lol@ the Eddie and Jeri show...Hey it can be like the Wallace and Ladmo Show (an old morning cartoon show with silly hosts that came out of Phx, the kids all got 'Ladmo Bags' full of junkfood ) but with plants.. We get the goodie bags :P Instead of cartoons they could show live streaming plant video!!

Speaking of video anyone else see that brug video on YouTube with Metallica music to it? Someone had the link on DG.

ahhh one of my FAV songs!!! I love those shots with the back lighting! lol, of course he had to end up with a 'blue' one.
well, now I have to go pop in a Metallica CD cuz now I need a Master Of Puppets fix..

Daniella - dont be counting on that live feed anytime soon - I know who Eddie's technical support person is and SHE knows what HIS technical skills level is, and WE have a long way to go.... if YA know what I mean ??????

Yes, this is a very special group. Everyone brings something special to the table and the combination makes us a very unique and special mix of people. I'm very proud to be a part of this group and very lucky to have Eddie only a short drive and only a phone call away. I'm glad others are getting to know you, my friend, like I have gotten to know you over the last year, and to see what a funny, smart, kind and generous man you are.

And Kylie is just the Bomb - as are so many others on the forum. Dang... I think I squeezed out a tear.
