Hey we are cooking a pig to. It is our 14th wedding Anniversary tommorrow. Yeah were Awful. My hubby said if we got married on that day he couldnt get in trouble for forgetting it.LOL He got me a fish pond and all these brugs. Have a good day all.

I don't post often but I must say I truly enjoy reading all the posts and the unique experiences that everyone shares about their Brugs.Please keep it up as you probably can't fathom the number of lurkers whom you have helped with your growing tips etc. From all of us up here in Canada...a very blessed Thanksgiving day to all of you.. our American friends and neighbours. Ross.

Takin a quick break while tapioca pudding is cooling and a pie is in the oven, and of course after a sliced knuckle, and 2 burns, lol. Doin great so far!

Ross, you are absolutely correct..I think most of us start out as lurkers, I know I did.
OK back to the kitchen..I need to steal another cookie..sshhh..Hey, the way I see it is, I bake em, I can eat em all and not even share if I want lol.

Oh my what a thread to pick up and post on. Thanks Daniella for all the little pictures. We all need a good laugh once in awhile. They were so cute...We all need the good friends we've made here also.

We need to remember to be Thankful of so many things. Like the air we Breath, the flowers we SEE, the birds we Hear, the food we Taste, and this list could just go on and on....alot of times we forget about just how wonderful we have it and how much we take for granted each and every day.

I heard this story this past week.

This man was complaining of not having any shoes that fit and that they all hurt his feet. Then he saw the picture of the fellow in the army that didn't have any feet, as a matter of fact he was missing an arm too. All of a sudden his shoes weren't as bad as he thought they were. Sometimes things get rough but we really do have so much to be thankful for. We just forget about the little things we take for granted each and everyday.

Hope you all enjoy Thanksgiving and can be with your families and loved ones. Please drive safely and watch out for the other drivers.

I'll be spending my Thanksgiving working and taking care of others who can't take care or themselves.

God Bless each and everyone of you as we head off into the Holiday Season.

Whew - break time from the prepping/cooking/cleaning.

Ok - what idiot decided to wash the floor BEFORE the cooking started? (grin) I'll look at it this way - won't be AS dirty when I go through again with a bucket and a rag.

And throwing stuff "at" the garbage disposal doesn't help. (fwwwaaaap!) "Oops." Close doesn't count (sarcastic grin)

Hoping everyone has a wonderful T-day and that all houses smell of wonderful things - be it Brugs OR turkey!

Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving everyone and a special Happy Anniversary to jumpin4joy! We are having pig cooked in the ground today too and fried turkey and ham going to our friends house and they are all from Hawaii so I know we will have plenty of good food. Thanks to all of you for being my forum friends and for helping get started with my brugs.
