my machine crashed .. so i was interrupted, but finished... 3 things strike me ... and due to the above.. i could have missed them? 1... no mention of timing ... in my MI.. you better not be doing any such thing in august ... in fact.. its an EARLY spring or early fall process .. the clothing they are all wearing sure shows that.. but the words dont .. just because you buy a plant.. does not mean its time to plant it .. either tag them at a nursery for pick up in the proper season.. or hold them over until the next appropriate season .. very regional though .... 2... they claim nitro fert will get a tree established in 3 months.. pshaw on that ... 2 to 3 years.. for all trees and conifers ... especially based on the size of the plants shown .... 3.... i would NEVER recommend ANY fert .... unless a soil test indicates something is missing from the soil ... the cliche is.. your plants will be stressed. not hungry.. they are not children ... thats the best i will do.. without remuneration .. lol ... one last thought.. for free.. lol ... no instant gratification of buying large.. the larger the plant.. the larger the potential problems... all plants shown were severely root bound.. because the buyer went large .. go smaller.. and odds are .. less problems.. and due to such.. they will outgrow the larger problematic plants in a 3 to 5 year span .... ken

Update - I needed to create another slide show earlier this month. Again, I wanted something simple to create, because it's for a one-time presentation with over a hundred slides. I discovered that the slideshow option on the Win10 OS works fairly well and has one big advantage: if my folder has both images and videos, it will show both, in the proper order. There are few user-changeable options, including displaying filenames, but it works. Simply put all the slides and videos in one folder, open the first one, right-click on it, and select slideshow. The only problem was that Win10 is on my desktop computer, so I just carried it to the restaurant where the presentation was being held. I would still like to find a program which would automate the entire process. My ideal problem would be for me to create a file which has a list of all the files. I would load Command Prompt, go to the folder which has all the files, and type "dir/b > filelist.csv". This will create a comma separated file which lists all the files, one per line. I would add additional information to each line, such as a title and perhaps a time interval. I could do this all in Excel. But I need a program which would use this file to read each of the images (one at a time) and display the image with the title for the time selected. I don't know of any program which would do this. ???
