That is funny. I don't think it's cheaper than buying the crystals but I might be wrong. I have bought the crystals to mix with my soil by the mailbox because we don't have a sprinkler system. My goal was for the soil to attain moisture and I wouldn't have to water. I'm too lazy to water there so I bought the gel crystals and it has worked out great. Once in a while, you will see the gel seep through the dirt. It was better than carrying a water bucket to the mailbox for me.

One I remember many years ago. I had baked a two layer banana cake and put the frosting on while it was warm. I had it on a plate on the counter. My neighbor stopped in and we were chatting in the kitchen. I had my back to the counter and first thing you know a warm banana cake slide right onto the floor! I have 3 seedpods on Ila Marie that are sticking way out in the walkway, I just know something bad is gonna happen to those lol.

Ha...That's awesome!!...I have a few places in my yard I should put those...My hubby doesn't get to go in my flower beds after a weed whacker mishap!!...But he does get close...lol

Edna. thats what I call looking out for your babies. that's a great idea. that is why my DH doesn't have to mow & hasn't for years. he would mow down everything in his path. flowers grass. kids toy's you name it he would mow it. Elizabeth

LOL! I didn't go quite that far but did surround my Tootsie with larger plants to make sure nobody could get near it. I can see the second skirt peeking out on mine. Cross your fingers for me.

lol! thats too funny. The dog is the only one I have to worry about knocking things off...yesterday she was throwing the ball to herself, doing flip-flops in the air. She knocked 3 big opening buds off of one of my triple purple dats. 2 big buds off of a NOID brug. kooky dog.

Lol, that is too funny. I can just see the yard covered in cones. You would be proud of John. We went to visit his friends Sunday and before I knew it he had a shovel in his hands trying to dig up all their plants, roflmao. Unfortunately he wasn't as good as he was enthuiastic but maybe a couple of the banana's had enough roots to live. Most got chopped in half. He tried to take their whole patch of taro and lemon grass and they made him stop.
