I know what you mean.... We're having mid November weather right now. Had to rush to get everything in and the Hippie Hideout re-assembled. Still have some stuff outside but it should all be fine until tomorrow. You should post that list somewhere where it's noticeable and he has to see it every day! Go get the wheelbarrow tire yourself and put a big checkmark next to it. That way he knows what's left on the list LOL!

He got me the tire for my birthday 2 years ago. My birthday is Christmas Eve so I only make one list a year.

We were still in the upper 80's last Nov. That's unusual for here but it sure was nice. We've had such screwy weather the past few years I'm not even sure what's average anymore. But yes, it's too damn cold now!!!!!!

If it was not for the gardening part...I LOVE the cooler weather lol. But it sucks ....can I say that?...that the yard is so empty so early because of this sudden cold spell.

Same goes here. I remember last year at Halloween I had stripped my leaves but hadn't taken the brugs in yet and it wasn't cold at all. In fact, I remember several halloweens over the last few years where I was sleeveless. I wonder if this means its gonna be a bad winter. :(

Whats really be 80 day after tomorrow and its going to be too hot in the garage. Boohooo.

I have never seen snow.If it get below 80 i'm cold.I don't like cold weather,only good thing for me is i get to has a fire.I love a nice warm fire when its cold. Good luck with your Brugs.

It def is way too cold way too early this year. I almost died last night when the weather man said "rain for tuesday, changing over to snow and sleet by rush hour" WHAAATTT???? It was in the lower 70's Sat, almost 70 Sun!!! NOOOOO!!! this sux. I was still wearing shorts last year at this time..kids didnt need jackets for trick or treating..

I'm in Bradenton Fla.It was in the high 50's when i got up at 6:30.Thats cold.My husband hates it down.He would like to move to Tenn or Kentucky,not me I'm a Fla girl born and raised.Not moving anywhere it snows.lol. I got to be able to get out side in my yard every day. It's all ways green.All ways something blooming.It would be nice to have a different scenery like you all do up north with the changing of the leaves,bulbs bloomimg,it has to be beautiful.My husbands Parent have property in Tenn, they live in sarasota and go back and fourth,they are up there now.Mom always takes a lot of pictures for us.

I'd give anything for 50's right now Denise! Right now it's 11am and 35 outside!! Windchill of 31!! yikes!! I think I'm gonna make some cocoa! Very rainy and windy..thunderstorm right now. Dog wont even go out to go to the bathroom, lol. 5 times I took her out today, finally the 4th time she quick ran to the bottom of the steps, peed and ran right back up.
I would give anything for green all year round! Screw the dif scenery, lol! I hate fall cleanup..wet slippery leaves..ice to fall and break your butt on..ugh. trudging thru the snow shoveling your car out..I used to like it all, not anymore.

GG, I'm wearing big fuzzy slipper socks today..even under my boots, lol. My mom is in PA, she said tehy had snow last night, but it didnt stick. The Poconos in PA are under a winter weather advisory since last night.
We have a high wind warning here from 6am this morn till wed morn at 6am. 20-25mph winds, with gusts in excess of 45mph. I hope the dang trees stay up...now with wet soil, and the wind combined...I keep waiting to hear another crash! Not that I heard the last one..I kept saying to DH, "how could we NOT have heard that tree fall?"
I am pretty sure Karyn and Theresa are under the same wind warning right now.

We are gonna hit 34 tonight here lol. It seems really early for this cr@p. DH went out and built wood frames around my brug 30ft beds yesterday. I have some really heavy plastic and frost cloth to put over everything if I need to.
I dug up some stuff and brought the foxtails and other tender palms, epiphyllums that I'm rooting, and a few other lucky tropicals in. I need to go out today and figure out what to do with the rest. I have 2 many plants!
What a pain this is. Next year I am gonna live in S. FL LOL!

LOL! Once every 7 years or something like that they pump in sand... It was interesting to watch so we didn't gripe too much.

I didn't know they did that. Kind of neat, lol. Not good luck for your vacation timing though. This weather has been breaking all sorts of records for being an early freeze. I was right. I found out today that I didn't bring in my plants til mid December last year and the weather got nice again after that but I left them in because I couldn't haul them in and out too much.

Those of you that live in TX and Fl...I'm very surprised you are getting such cold weather. I assumed it was always warm there until Jan for Feb. hmmm.

It has been in the teens here already. I suppose it will be a long cold winter. brrr
