Dax, I have noticed in my garden if you put Etoile Violette against another purple it takes on a very slight red tint - that is one way to verify your Etoile Violette. As for the other purple some ideas to check out are Jackmanii, Jackmanii Superba and Polish Spirit. You can look these up on the Hull Database. Yes - I am happy with that purchase...I was looking for conophytums though but they seem in short supply here in Toronto - but happy with what I got..I did get another plant when I got this and was wondering if someone could identify it? hopefully some type of Euphorbia?
