got this cactus from a co-worker. he refered to it as dragon tail, but that did not appear to come up on a search at all. closest resemblence I have found is rat tail.

blue-green rope like strands of round fleshy lobes. older areas faded to yellowish white.

Try *Sedum morganianum* (Burro's Tail or Donkey's Tail)

Okay! Thanks for your input. I just couldn't find one that looked close enough to this species so I just wanted to make sure. And actually this picture was after I cut off the bad parts.The stem was pretty much broken off so I just cut off the gross gooey parts. The rotted parts were turning black and have some white fuzz (mold?) on it. I was too grossed out to remember to take a picture xD Do you think it's too small to make it? My friend was about to throw it out and I wanted to try and save it :o

Ya this cactus is etiolated. I‘ve been trying figure of what it could be. At first glance I thought it was the mini version of Austrocylindropuntia subulata, but I actually think it’s an etiolated Mammillaria. The tubercles are too prominent to be my first thought. Plus the spines look more Mammillaria imo, and it’s missing the leaves that the mini A. subulata has. Has it ever flowered?

Rebutia albiflora which is a subspecies of Rebutia pulvinosa. This makes me very 😀 to know you got this from Lowe’s. I love Rebutias and I get excited to see different species hitting the big box stores. I’ve never seen albiflora in the bbs. I find Rebutias like a little more water than other cactus during the growing season. Of course the mix needs to dry out, but once mix is dry water. I’ve had a couple Rebutia die from dried up roots because they didn’t get enough water during their growth period.

The first on the left is a "false saguaro." Look up Pachycereus pringlei, or cardon. They grow quite tall, like the real saguaro, but very slowly.
