New leaves on indoor lime tree are light green

I have a lime tree, perhaps 10" high and growing indoors, that I've had for about three months. It put out very nice new flush of leaves a few weeks ago, but they persist in being a very light green, somewhat yellowish color. I would say it looks like chlorosis, but the veins are not as contrasting as I would expect for that.

Other info:

No, I don't know what variety it is. Received it as a gift; something inexpensive from a mass market catalog.

Soil: Sand and organic matter, something like coir or peat moss.

Fertilizer regime: I water with a weak solution of an acidifying fertilizer, Schultz brand, one designed for azaleas and the like. 1/2 tsp/gallon.

Sun etc.: It's in a south facing sunroom. Temperature is cool, probably 55 at night, 65 in the day, 70 for a few hours in the evening.

Other than the leaf color, the plant seems healthy enough, and flowered and set a fruit in the midst of this leaf condition. Older leaves on the plant, though much smaller, are dark green. Is this just the normal appearance of new leaves, or is there reason to suspect some problem?

Thanks for your thoughts,

Mike
