Echeveria source in Ontario

I am looking for a good source for Echeveria in Ontario. I live just east of Toronto and seem to be having difficulty sourcing these plants to get a good variety.

Also are there any that are winter hardy?

I don't know of a source in Ontario, but no Echeveria are cold-hardy in Canada.

Have you looked in Home Depot? This may be a bit too far away, but I know that Rice Road Greenhouses in Fenwick (near St. Catharines)has had some interesting and relatively unusual succulents in the past, so it's possible that they have some Echeveria.

Is there a specific variety that you are looking for?

I do not know of any in the GTA area, but I do know of a nuersery in London that has fair sized ones. I think they sell them for about 50 dollars. the leaves are pinnate and they are about 5/6 feet tall. Given that I drive to Toronto (Markham) frequently, I would be willing to pick up one for you if you were interested and you could pick it up from me in Markham. Just a thought!

I live a few hours south of you so won't be of any help with local places but I know the business that I use can order just about anything as long as I know who the company who makes it is. If they need to do a special order then the shipping could be a bit extra but if it is what you wants then who cares? Try a locally owned reputable business. :)
