Hoya carnosa macros

You'd be hard pressed to find a more common plant with such cool flowers. The flowers are arranged in these upside down umbrella like structures with maybe 20 or so all bunched up. The buds look neat all on their own, and they open into really pretty little blossoms with a fascinating texture. You can see there are zillions of super fine hairs all over each of the petals. All in all, it's a lovely combination of color and texture. Mine seems to prefer being root bound and kept in a tree where it can throw its vines out onto the branches. When I just let it hang, it always seemed to get damaged by the slightest wind.

Perfect lighting in the photo to reveal the deep, luscious color.

Harsher light washes out some color but allows for a smaller aperture to capture more detail.
