I have a 5 yr old grafted Buddha's Hand Citron originally from Four Winds Nursery. It's a beautiful tree and blooms well but it won't hold fruit for me so it's going to have to go. It's not huge (3.5' and very full) but is probably too big to ship. I doubt that there's anyone near enough that wants to trade but figured I'd give it a shot. Looking for tropicals (not houseplants), Finger Lime, Yuzu citron, magnolias or other flowering shrubs/trees.

Grant, a question, I have 2 fruit going and another bud blooming, and the 2 fruit are very tiny at this stage but they are mostly purple, its that normal? They do look like tiny buddah's hands but all the fingers are together at this stage. The plant is now putting buds out all over the place and in a very few places some new leaves. But its still getting some yellow leaves and lost a few last week. Its by no means unhealthy, but I hate to lose leaves, I think of leaves as solar panels on a spacecraft!

Have you ever been to their Green houses in Bloomington? I went there twice..(didn't buy citrus) but they have lovely tropicals, perrenials, annuals, cacti, succulents, and trees..the bad thing is, when you visit, you browse through their catalogs, all 7?, jot down the item number, and an employee goes to the gh w/your lists and choses plants..If it's not acceptable, you insist he/she exchange plants and bring up a new one. Ordering from their catalog's is another thing..You NEVER know what you're getting. Ever. For instance I ordered red dogwood and a purple smoke tree..the dogwood is something other than what I ordered and the smoke tree is green. I did find a nice quince tree for 1.98, and a penny for a second..I also got 2 hardy kiwi's growing outdoors..male and female plants, but neither have yet to fruit..they're over 6 yrs old..So, it's like playing Lotto..You either win or you don't..LOL..Toni
