Pretty color COT. Do yours lose their foliage and go semi dormant over the winter? Mine do even if I have them under lights.

Is this a planned trip? I hope everything is ok.

oh yes friends, a planned trip. Got to babysit while DD goes on a work related trip for 1 week. So it will be just from Sat to Sun.

Karyn last winter I had the COT from Rigo and it did loose leaves. I just had it sittin in the window and now they are outside. Growing nicely.

I will pay more attention this year since I really like them

Why are there all kinds of plants in the brugmansia forum? I thought this was for brugs only?

When folks share another photo than brugmansia or introduce another topic than brugmansia, they put OT/off topic in the heading. So, you can just avoid the OT threads!! Lucy would love to be able to post more brugmansia photos, but it has been too hot in Texas so far this year for most of her brugs. Maybe Lucy can post photos of brugs growing in Florida, while she is there! hint, hint!!

I saw the crown of thorns growing in a circle, like a wreath. It gave the effect of a "crown". Do you do that, too, Lucy, or is it growing naturally?

How big do you COT milii get down in TX? Do you grow them in the ground? Do you know what variety that one is? I really like the tint of green in that one. I have a yellow flowering one with a hint of green but that doesn't look nearly as good as the red with green. Not to mention your excellent photography skills.

I leave my biggest one out until Oct. Sometimes it loses it's leaves but they always come back by early spring.

This was actually one of the first plants that I had to have even before I started collecting plants.

I would love to post a pic of my mama milii on this thread if you do not mind. I will be sure to do that tomorrow when I get a pic of it in good light of the AM.

David don't be silly now. POST THAT PICTURE!! I ALWAYS always love to see other members post pictures...no matter if in own thread or adding it on to another and I believe we all think the same.

When it gets light I go check if it came with a name. It is my first year of having BOTH outside. Rigo got me started with this one:
oh shocks...I looked through a LOT of pictures...somewhere along the summer I quit organizing them lol

I tell you what...I go and take a picture of BOTH plants...FULL view and post it here later.

When I brought this one home it did not look happy so I looked in the pot and low and behold it had Grub worms in the soil.

There is a big difference between those two. I do not know why. One has a thicker stem then the other.
