Brenda i honestly couldn't think of a more fun thing to do on my birthday than go shopping for plants. I am a plantaholic too and i even get suckered in by the cheap flower books that come in winter. Everything just looks so pretty and then you get it and its a little stick?! LOL....I just cant help it i love them all! My poor hubby already looks like a drunk when he mows the grass because i plant bushes and trees everywhere and he has to weave in and out, in and out. I was teasing him one day and told him he mowed like a snake and he said "thanks to my wife"! LOL...I need a landscaper so bad because i suck at it. Im scared to put my precious babies next to the fence because we have toxic neighbors that cut and spray on our side. So i plant them all over the middle of the yard. I dont know how he puts up with me but he does. I LOVE your dinosaur petunia on steroids! How cool is that! I have to get plants at least over two feet tall because my grass takes them over and i will never find them again. Poor hubby would accidentally mow them down and then i would cry. Yes im a baby and cry for my poor plants. Especially if it is one i had for a long time. LOL....Back to the needing a landscaper thang :-) Brenda please ask your mom if there is a trick to growing viburnums because i am new at it and i dont want to kill my new babies. I know they like it moist and sunny, if she can think of anything else please let me know ,if you dont mind :-) I love native plants too. Big surprise huh :-) Bonnie

Wow - yea, like that! No - I have nothing against white ones - it's the itty bitty white ones - where the flower is so small and dainty, it's smaller than a petunia. That's what I meant. I don't have a "delicate" landscape hand. Small, delicate and dainty won't work for me. Everyone in my life is a Brutus, even my dog. Big feet, big vehicles, big old dog, the landscaper and his "big" mowers and monster rakes, and a leaf blower that could remove siding. (grrrrrrrrr) The little dainty white flowers - they wouldn't make it here, that's all - they're beautiful - but too delicate for my "homestead" which is probably more like the wild west sometimes. The guys doing my siding? My Pink sedum looks like guacamole on the ground around my air conditioner.. . I'd love some extra seeds when you're done trading Mike! That would be wonderful! Thank you! And DH would love that Goree Island. He likes dats. . .

Theresa - I'm hoping for more than a 'few weeks' of frost free weather! lol! Some of these I haven't seen bud or bloom yet! I've waited a long time for 'Wanda Sue' to bloom! Had to dig her up last year when I bought the new place. And of course, she didn't bloom after the move, as well as quite a few others that didn't get a chance to do anything! So I'm anxiously waiting to see some action around here! :) Marquest - I tried to help Kim set her photobucket account the same as mine & it didn't help her pics expand either! Not sure what I did or didn't do! :) Maybe one of the pc experts can help out! Brenda - It stinks knowing I most likely will not have 'Goree Island' seeds! I overwintered two plants - planted them outside thinking 'maybe, just maybe' but no such luck! I still have two 1' tall plants which I started this Spring! I'll have to see if maybe one of them can make a short journey to Ga! lol! They're sort of naked though! rofl! Just a couple of leaves at the top & naked down below! Sheesh - that sounds rather dirty, doesn't it? I didn't mean for it to! ;) Margaret - Let us know what's budding & blooming! Pics girl!
