HAVE: 'Ice plant' and jade cuttings for native cacti
Comments (5)Hi Mary. The jade plants are very run-of-the-mill specimens. I think the species name is Crassula ovata. I have one plant that is somewhat different in that the leaves are a little smaller and the growth is somewhat more compact. I also have some of the jades with "tubular" leaves. I'll see if I can find some photos....See Moresedum sieboldii, some jade bonsais, group of jade
Comments (6)americangolden, This pic might show what a jade laying on it's side would look like when it got bigger. A short while ago I did a heavy whack on this c ovata to get a more compact canopy. The stump is 20" from the soil level. The top pot opening is 8". I call it " bigfoot ". Mike...See MoreTrade/Give/Will pay for postage for house plants/succulent cuttings!
Comments (2)Hi Cathy, I am interested in trying to work a trade with you for your string of pearls plant and Jade cuttings . I have hoya carnosa , Bryophyllum daigremontianum ( aka Mother of thousands ) or rooted brugmansia cuttings to offer in trade. I dont know if you are willing to mail plants (its definitely too cold right now but later on in May it will be fine) or even if these interest you .Being that you are in Toronto if you would be willing to pick up in Mississauga ( my son and daughter in law live there) I could possibly get them down there to them . Please email me and we can go from there ....See MoreRooting Jade plant cutting.

So I brought it into the house for some TLC. It fell apart, but I intended to salvage what I could. So it has been sitting on my breakfast bar waiting for me to do something. Hurricanes and other issues have kept me from doing anything for almost a month. And voila! It took care of itself! I don't want to disparage another person's method of rooting cuttings, but dagnabbit, I seem to have better luck when I ignore things!...See MoreUser
