I am sadden for all the families... and the mall and the workers...and the firefighters.. and the Police... and even like you ... you would do Christmas shopping there... IT is like a V I O L A T I O N a very personal attack... How truly sad... At a family time... a sick derranged how ever you spelll it !!!!! mean ole person has this hate in his heart... instead of just doing something to himself... he has to hurt sooooo' many > I will pray and pray.. but it will probably effect the Christmas shopping economy... GOOD THING most of us junkers.... etc... shop at other places.... God must be sad toooo Hey Christmas is just around the corner... It's snowing up a storm here in Illinois and Wisconsin.. And We will not let terrorism steal away the true meaning of Christmas... or any other day in our lives.... This is our Country... these are our families !!!!! Dang those crazy bad guys... didn't any body know this guy was acting up or crazy...? I do thank God that he did not do anything to the President. That would really be a blow to our country we don't need right now.... or ever... I was thinking of when I was at lunch in the 9th grade ... when President Kennedy was assassinated ... it was a scarey horrible thing... Well..... We must pray and we must try to stay safe. We should all talk to our family members and get a plan just like you do for a fire...or bad weather... that sounds so awful to say... By the way, I wanted to let everyone know that although no one replied to this thread, I did get a taker on the offer to combine orders the day after I posted, and we both ended up getting 1/2 off shipping from Roses Unlimited. I also wrote to my local rose society, but they have a relationship with specific rose nurseries/wholesalers and wasn't willing to present this opportunity to the membership, so gardenweb really helped me get the word out. I don't know if this is a sanctioned use for gardenweb but I made a new rose friend through this post and got to save money in the process, so I'm pretty happy.

Hi Mare. Roughly where did you live in Central O? I live in one of the old neighborhoods in mid-town, about 42nd & Pacific. What took you to St. Louis? Dana, I'm sure you meant the Papillion HD (I'm not aware of LaVista having one.) That one is the worst!! I was down there a few days ago myself (my business is about 1/2 mile from there) and you're right - it looks like someone has been TRYING to kill the plants. I saw a nice Sanseveria that tempted me, but it was so soppy wet I figured there was a good chance it would croak. The HD at 72nd and Ames is better (usually...) I've found some GREAT plants at the Lowes near Nebr. Furniture Mart. I wish these places would get people who can take proper care of the plants. It rips my heart out to see gobs of beautiful plants being murdered like that...**sigh** Denise in Omaha
