Will BST cats be killed by frost?

There's a frost warning tonight and I know of a couple of BST cats living on a rue plant in a park. Will the cold temps kill them? I read that they can overwinter as chrysalids, so I'm hoping they can manage it.

If not, I was thinking of rescuing them, but I'd have to cut a piece of the rue they're on and then hope that I'd have enough food for them to carry on. Since it's a public park and this is strictly against their rules, I can't go around taking rue clippings every day (and it might die in the freeze, too, who knows?). Does anyone know if they could eat fresh parsley from the grocery store (assuming no pesticides, of course)? They would not have the vertical surfaces they like to climb on, but they'd have food.

For pupating, I could provide them with some sticks.

I've never done anything with BSTs before, so I'm a little nervous at the prospect (besides sneaking them out of the park undetected). It would be easiest if they can survive the frost!

Thanks.
