Will, when I first read this I didn't think I could be of any help besides sending the Brug comparison link (which you probably already know about), since I don't grow Isabella. But about half way down this page they say that Grand Mariner Pink, Golfito, and Isabella are all "believed to be the same brugmansia". I didn't know this and do grow Golfito. Golfito has just finished up a flush of blooms and FP has not yet bloomed for me this year so I did a leaf comparison. I would have taken a pic but the leaves look exactly the same to me! I did notice that FP had a slight "fuzzy" feel to it and Golfito did not. And, Golfito's blooms were at a definate "angle". So I guess this is really only helpful info for you if Isabella and Golfito and in fact the same brug... Here is a link that might be useful: Brugmansia Comparisons

Thanks, I have a small yard and a big deck that borders a wooded ravine, thus the lush green. Most of my yard is in shade(Hostas Ferns impatience ect.) but the deck gets part sun. This year is the first year I have brugs in the ground on the side of the house but no signs of Y or buds...

ahhh why does everyone post the cute ones last rofl Gosh Mike isn't it weird....I am dying here of heat and no sign of cooler days....here you are talking about FALL lol this is it...as soon as the sun is down I am finding my matches and stick them to those angels!! I wanna see buds and blooms too lol Glad your first love is still making you happy!! When I go out I also will take the camera and take a picture of my Hyacinth Bean. I have NEVER in my life seen a bean THAT HUGE! Of course come to think of it...it is also growing in that flowerbed with all the HUGE plants ha ha ha ha The bean is way longer then my hand and probably has a 2 finger width!!
