Well, I Guess it Happens to All of Us Sooner or Later....

Well, I had 6 Painted Lady caterpillars that pupated, and I was expecting them to come out soon, conveniently (not!) while I was away for the weekend. 4 of them eclosed, and two I think I need to euthanize. One of them was the one that got damaged when I dropped the stick last week; its wings expanded fine, but its abdomen is basically glued to the inside of the chrysalis. The other one fell and didn't climb back up until its wings were hardened. This is my first time needing to dispose of a butterfly, so I'm wondering how to do it. Do I just put them in a ziplock bag, put it in the freezer, and then throw out the bag?

Thanks,
