Easter Cactus and Sedum Acre help!?

Hello!

I bought a very small Easter Cactus in April, it was beautiful with about 10 flowers. The container is about 2 inches long, again this was a very small plant. I have kept it in the same container since I've had it. The flowers were opening in the morning and closing at night, they were very pretty. One day, about the middle of April I put the plant outside for a little more sun and the flowers shriveled up and fell off! I have keep it inside since then but there has been no new growth.

Should I replant it in something bigger? I have read that peat and leaf compost are good for soil, is this true? Or should I leave it in the soil it came in? Also, I have it in north facing window with little light, should I move it for more light? My main goal is to get this cactus to bloom again.

My second questions is about a plant I believe is a Sedum Acre...? It is a creeping succulent, drooping over the pot it is in, with small white flowers that turned yellow. The plant was very healthy when i got it with small soft green leaves and dozens of those small flowers. I have had plant outside for about 1 month and now the stems and leaves are looking brown and shriveled, as though I have not been watering it but I water almost 2 or 3 times a week. Is that too much? Any advice to get this healthy again?

Thank you for your time, and I appreciate any help I can get!

Ashley
