Myrtle Spurge and Purple Emperor Sedum

I wasn't sure which forum to post in and this one seemed to be the best. I have questions about these two plants:

1. The Myrtle Spurge...I've read that it is invasive and toxic (yeah Lowes for selling it...I now know what gave me an allergic reaction that made my face swell up and my eyes swell shut!) Irregardles of that; is this like Autumn Joy Stonecrop sedum, where you can break a piece off and stick it in the ground and it grows? Or should it be divided since it grows from the center out (I don't want it to invade the rest of my rock garden)?

2. Purple Emperor Sedum...It is absolutely gorgeous in bloom! I've had so many comments on it! Same question as above; can a stem be broken off and 'stuck' in the ground?

I'm so used to the Autumn Joy Stonecrop Sedum that these two intrigue and baffle me at the same time.

Thanks for any advice!
