Question about sulphur cats & raising in a box

Ok, so I planted several Cassia Alata around the yard and they *were* LOADED with sulphur cats. However, as of yesterday, every single one of them is GONE. I suspect wasps since they are now hanging around the Cassia. Good news is, I saw some butterflies today laying more eggs.

Question is; the whole point of growing Cassia was to increase the population, so can I grab the cats off the plants and raise them in a bug box or make some sort of screened box? If so, can I just cut some Cassia branches off and put them in there?
