I think what Mr Miller is doing is rushing a daylily to market to capitilize on a recent trend for big edged daylilies in this color range, if figures, sell one fan now, or 3 next year at 100 instead. Others do something similiar by withholding what they percieve will be a hot selling commodity with limited increase and forcing someone to buy a collection to recieve it.. Its within his rights to try.. If you remember Jack Carpenter diploids from a year or two ago had some outragous starting prices as well.. none of which probably warrented it.. but thats thier opionion as the hybridizer, that something is unique enough to try to capatilize.. I have several rose friends who think daylily people are nuts.. Typically a rose is hybridized, tested, increased (much easier via cutings) and sold somewhere between a 4-8 year range typically. But when released to mass market its still the same price even if its new.. So somewhere around the $20.00 mark, when I explain to them a new daylily from hybridized work 2-5 years ago released this year will fetch 100-200 or more easily their jaws drop.. Silverkelt

suero, that's so tiny it's hard to even fathom how they did it. gw, ah, the cell phone dilemma. BTDT (again, with my mother). She doesn't need all the bells and whistles, she just needs a phone to converse on with buttons that aren't the size of pinheads and good volume (or hearing aid compatible). Nothing more. To say it was a challenge is an understatement, don't know how many we went through that didn't work. I finally found our carrier's h-aid rating chart and discovered my prior phone was top rated for h-aids (knew volume and reception were good). Gave it to her, it's perfect. (Motorola W755). DH has the same phone, works very well for him too. (I've borrowed his when we went to the country because mine was dropping calls, his was perfect.) One of my best phones was an audiovox brand, little pull up antenna. I could be in the very back of Target or HD, metal roof, thunderstorm, and get crystal clear reception. I've not had that happen with any phone since. Halfway to the back of the store, calls are cutting out. :/

Karlos If your out west the best place for you to go would be Hamiltons World of Cati - they are just out of Blacktown. Look them up on the net for details. They are not necessarily cheap but they have a large range of cacti and succulents - worth checking out!

I had already thanked Margo for her Cincinnati package but wanted to share a pic. Just love all of it! Peanuts are already gone. The Chili - it will be next! The cardinal bird handed I already know where on my patio it is going. Carnation seed is gonna be planted ( it’s my favorite!) I could be biased there as 32 yrs ago this Dec. that was the first flower my husband gave me on our first date. The currant tomato seed I love to can so those will be of use too. She also sent a cute buckeye keychain. And in the background is a veggie tote bag. I always use these when going to the store. Wow, so glad you were my partner Margo. You really brightened my world today especially when all I can do is try to rest and pray the pain will ease up. Will be having surgery Wednesday.
