Congrats on your male pipevine swallowtail! I've been releasing a lot of pipevine swallowtails recently - I just have two chrsyalides left - most of which were males, but at least three, maybe four, were females, and I haven't seen the females around, just lots of males. I was so hoping for more eggs and cats!
Anyway, your aristolochia looks like A. macrophylla to me, but since they all look very much alike, I can't say for sure. If they bloom, then you'll be able to narrow it down to A. macrophylla/A. tomentosa if the flowers are the typical little "Dutchman's pipes" - I can't remember for sure what A. gigantea flowers look like, but by the name, I'd guess they're big.
My A. macrophyllas haven't grown too fast either, although one of them is finally taking off. My A. tomentosas are huge, though. 'Just wish I had some babies!

It looks like my very lonely A. macrophylla (lonely as in no caterpillars), but I am not the expert MissSherry is (just read what she wrote). It's very slow growing--this is only my second year with it. It is starting to get the tendril thing going on, and it is about 3 feet tall now--it's just starting to look for something to hang on beyond the support it came with.

Thanks very much for your input, I know it is hard just with leaves, but it's been bugging me because I know it is something different than what I already had.

Bernergrrl, has yours bloomed yet? I wonder how long that takes, I guess the blooms will give me a better ID on the plant. But searching under A. macrophylla definitely gave me some pics of plants/foliage that looks more like this one.
