Aristolochia serpentaria now available

I wanted to let the membership of this forum know that I've got Aristolochia serpentaria (Virginia snakeroot) rootstock available for planting this spring. Plants are still dormant, but won't be much longer. Though somewhat rare, they are a favorite host plant of the pipevine swallowtail, but they are not a large plant, and it takes several to support the PVS cats! A shady location is recommended. They seem to be hardy in Zones 4 and 5.

Contact me if interested in obtaining some of these fine specimens.
