Hey, Keith!
I made it down yesterday, and I *think* I saw you...but didn't want to interrupt you.
So I checked out the excellent show plants, strolled the sale tables, and then looked
around for you. Couldn't find you, though. Maybe next year ;-)

Boy was it crowded. I wish there were a way to address the lines at the registers.

We thought about adding a 3rd register but the area is just too small. It was more crowded than last year, I think the Facebook add/page made the difference.

I was only there till noon, went to shoot photos of my son's pre-prom events. Will be there all day today if you come back, I'll have the Marvin the Martian t-shirt on.

There were some great plants, many more succulents this year. I would guess 2 to 1.

My top winner! 1st place, Best Advanced Succulent, Best Madagascan Succulent. Plant measures 16" in diameter. I wanted to show this plant but not in the commercial pot it was in. Attempted to make a container 2months ago that cracked badly during the 1st firing. The next try I put in the kiln too soon and it exploded. The pot it in now I made on Apr 27th, force dried it and fired it on May 2nd. It was staged on the 4th and transported to the show on the 6th.

Yeah, it was stiff competition with Caudex in the crowd. Some real nice specimens.

I wish there'd been a better showing of Crassula ovata, but the Jade plants didn't impress me.

caudex1 hello was wondering how you grow your Peperomia macrorhiza ? and I can't grow a Zygosicyos pubescens,no matter what I do they shrivel up. joe
