Well, when we did not hear, as they say, "No news is good news!" but it is great to have it official.
I'm so happy to hear this !!

It has been a long road to here,I did not want to say he was okay,until I knew for sure that the treatments worked,there has been some rough days for him,he was not allowed to play he only went outside when someone was with him,but today the vet did the heartworm test and for the first time in a long time it was neg.I will say this if anyone has a dog please be sure to get them tested and have them on some heartworm meds.these worms are awful,we were lucky to be able to have him treated that was only because of all of you,the treatments are expensive,I say that to say this it is a lot cheaper and a lot less heart breaking to prevent them.I love all you guys that has helped us.

Glad to hear it worked and that Lucky's better. Make sure he gets the heartworm pills every month, even during the winter.

I'm so glad to hear the good news about Lucky. It is awful when something happens to our pets and we have that helpless feeling of not knowing what to do or where to get the funds to do anything. I love stories with happy endings and am so glad Lucky will be there for your son for many years to come. Although this year has been really tight for me and I was unable to contribute (I drive 100 miles A DAY at these gas prices and I'm having some serious health issues), I did send many prayers. I also would love a Lucky cutting this fall when we trim back.

BTW the Hiawiian(sp) Air plant I got from you,is it a pot plant?I had to repot it it grew out of its first pot.It is so pretty.Hope you feel better soon if there is any thing I can do just holler.

Bonnie - sorry but it wasnt me that sent you the Hawaiian air plant. I think I only sent you a couple of NOID pink brug cuttings this past fall. It sounds like a great plant tho. :)

That may have come from me. You can grow it in a pot or in the ground. All you have to do is save a few leaves and stick them on top of some potting soil to make a new plant for next year if it freezes. I have mine in a huge pot and it got really big last year and bloomed green hollow chinese lantern looking things but I won't over winter the big one again. It grows fast so I'll just save some leaves.
