my peach parfait has buds & it's ready to Bloom,but my camera is still at the repair shop, boo hoo, I have a number of Brugs ready to Bloom, I just wish you could see them

I have been wondering, how you were doing? get on fuji film, i have but it didn't do me any good, not one but 2 cameras, I think i need to stick with Kodac
have any of your Brugs Bloomed, I have a number of crosses
that are now about 6 inches tall, & a lot of seeds waiting to come up, BTW have you heard from Daisy from DG

If you have heavily iced all the roots and the lowest foot or two of trunk it will also be cooling further up the tree by quite a bit due to the heat transfer effects. If you want to measure heat transfer get one of those IR heat gauge guns, it is an eye-opening experience to see how heat is graded on surfaces. Fire up your toaster and watch the surfaces around it warm up. etc. Since the interior of the tree is partly liquid (sap) there will be a relatively high rate of heat transfer down the trunk compared to the heat transfer with the air on the outside. So my guess is on a cloudy day or at night the upper limbs will be feeling a lot of that cool. On a sunny day the sun will dominate the heat transfer through the trunk. Scientists have done lots of studies of this but they may not have put a strong enough heat sink at the base of the tree since their focus was cooling the roots not cooling the tree via heat transfer. The novice, "ME", had no idea that Brugmansia came in so many colors, as singles, doubles, triples, you name it. I had only seen one in my life before, and it was a cream-colored single. When I saw my Candida Double White at the nursery,it consisted of just a couple of sticks with two little leaves and no flowers on it, I had to buy it, naturally, and I was sceptical about it being "double". Boy did I learn my lesson these past few weeks. The photos you people are posting on the forum are a true eye opener for me and I enjoy looking at them very much. Thank you for sharing. Ingrid.

Hi K, Yes... You did take all of the "cold beer". Lol!!! Just send the keys please? We haven' t started the boat since... ;-). If you send beer for the slugs, you better buy a brewery!!! Rox... I have heard about putting out beer for the slugs, but I'm wondering how much I would have to put out? I think I could buy some really nice rooted cutting instead of spending on PBR. Lol! I have them lining my deck above and below, so it would have to be in bowls or beer trough 's everywhere. I once outlined the containers with Epsom salt and it worked well until it rained and it finally started to wash away. Those little critters are some nasty little buggers. I wil pick them off as I am telling them what I think of them, just so the neighbors will hear.. ( only kidding..) and then I will toss them or... Lets just say, they won't be returning. ;-) So, if K wants to donate the beer, we can have a party as we line the decks with beer. Take the boat out for " sea trials.." Catch dinner and have a good time!! Maybe even have chocolate covered strawberries for dessert! I'll even make them myself!!! Gotta love chocolate!! ;-) Love those pics, K.. Hopefully I Will have some pics to share soon. I'm also in the process of rooting a cutting of a Kapalua and I think it is deciding it wants to stick around here in VB. MY tree is doing great thanks to my great friends... :). This cutting from what I understand ( Kapalua) is very difficult to root, so I am really working hard to make this one work. I just bought a few mor brugs from Daisy... I think they'll be here tomorrow. Perfect Harmony and Golden Lady. I have been wanting PH for a while.

I havent talked to her in a while..There is anotehr member there from down home I met..We are going to meet in person when I go down and do some brug plant trading...How are you :) Nice to see you too... I am waiting on mrs chambers from dweeb it has three buds on her...

Shawn doesnt she send wonderful plants and cheap too... I really like talking with her too... I received my golden lady from our Edna..I cant wait to see it bloom too...:)

it's good to see you, I have another order placed with Daisy, I can't wait to show off all my Blooming plants
my roses are all in Bloom, my cherry tree has fruit on it
altho they are pie cherries, my GD said grandma I don't want these it was precious. the dang camera repair people
take their time, but if worse comes to worse I will have to beg my GD, the oldest one to take pics for me i gave her a kodac for Xmas, so there's still hope

by the Name of daisy that are selling brugs.

how about Angels Exotic, it has just Bloomed last night, I had to go bother the neighbors, it smells so great, with Angels exotic& peaches& Creme both in full Bloom, I'll get the pot of coffee ready, are you on your way

Oooh, I wish I could see them and smell them. I have some buds on a couple of things and of course the one that just bloomed the tag is missing but I think its adora since I know she was in that line and there was only one without a tag. Grrr. Sorry I just got your email but it looks like its working now. I was so mad that all the ones I overwintered and was waiting to see bloom for the first time are the ones that got the tops cooked so now I have to wait for Y's on a lot of them again. The ones I have already seen bloom of course were alright, lol.

Theresa, my neighbors don't have Brugs, so I had to go get them so they could smell the Blooms, also Prickly pear catcus is Blooming, Theresa, did I send you the copy of How to make Hyper tuffa pots, the lady that I learned to make those pots from, made it in the summer issue of Country Gardens, pick up a copy you can see all the ones she has
