So i finally finished my patio! I've been working on it for a little bit over a week and it's finally done, right before the real heat begins! We are in the high 90s today and will be over 100 degrees in the next few days so im glad im not going to be working outside on that patio anymore. Here are some pics of the progress and the finished product:

Puling up the grass and flipping it over to dry in the sun.

And finally the rocks around the edge and some furnishings! I made wooden plant stands from salvaged wood posts and pieces of 2x4. Theres on on the right corner of the patio and another on the left corner behind the grill.

Heres another one of those plant stands. all of the plants inside the pot were propagated from plants in my yard (yucca elephantipes and different colored pelargoniums)

And finally, some cuttings that i have surprisingly gotten to root. I have never had any luck with cuttings but these actually look like they are going to make it. The first are some bougainvillea cuttings, then an Erythrina Crist-galli, and finally, a bunch of pelargonium cuttings all crammed into a single pot. The cuttings are even blooming!
