I knew what you meant, Mary! :) I have to say that the one thing I was never bothered by when I started my winter-sowing the first year was over-thinking, lol! Maybe it was just naivete, but I never thought of half the questions I see here now. Even after five years of doing this, every so often I'll see a newbie question and think, wow, that's a great question! How come I never thought of that? The weird thing is, in most things in life, I DO over-think... and think, and think, and think... for once in my life, when I first started WSing, I just jumped right in. Even now I catch myself - after something's been sown, sealed, and placed outside, of course! - wondering if I should have covered the soil, or planted the seeds more deeply. I always think to read the packet AFTER I've sown! Good thing, is, 99% of the time, it doesn't matter! Most things do just fine anyway! :) Dee

It's Climbing Pixie. The auction gives a nice description, but there's no photo on HMF or on the auction description. "Charles Walker's Miniature China" isn't on HMF at all. I'd like to know how much this rose differs from "Mableton Rouletii", which I bought from Vintage three years ago at least, and is also not on HMF. I collect rare, unusual roses, and I'm still very tempted to pull the trigger and see if I can add these to my collection. I think the past issues may have good information. I looked back and found an article on sweet potatoes. I will look later. The calender looks useful and gives me hope. Plant lettuce in Feb. Yeh. I also looked at twitter. I guess it is just like the computer but narrow. I am so behind the times.
