Wisteria Question

whiskey

Hi All,

Last fall I bought a large wisteria and planted it in a barrel but did not cut any of the ties of that were holding it to the stake.

It was bare so I cross my fingers and hoped I transplanted it correctly and watered the bare twigs.

It is starting to get little buds all over it and I am not sure if I should cut the ties holding or let it leave them. I have checked the tension and they are not overly tight.

I am so excited to have it bud. I have always wanted a wisteria and took a chance with a large one hopping I would get good results and I do not want to screw it up.

Thanks
