Gosh you wow me every time.. Your pics are very inspiring..:) I love them babies too boy they are really cute...The wisteria is gorgeus...I have to say though the peonies are my favorite...Thanks bunches for sharing your garden with us....:)

What is the name of the pretty yellow Iris? My Peonies are just starting to get fat buds & Lavender Lady has 2 flowers open. Is the bottom photo a Voodoo? Love the little fuzzy babies.

So cute... My voodoo lilly has already bloomed. It seemed to be short lived this year.

Karyn, Your peonies are all beautiful! How old are they? I divided and moved all mine last year. No blooms for me this year. Love the first and last pic of the Iris. Beautiful! Your wisteria is amazing! We had wisteria that literally took over the whole yard. It sent runners out all over and we couldn't keep up with it. I had DH dig it all out last year. My mom has been enjoying some I gave her a few years ago. I don't know that I recognize the flower pictures after that. I am sure your house should be on the garden tour! Do you have garden tours where you live? The chins are adorable! I still like that darker one. Did you name them?

I love them all like always, lol. I know a lady that has those color irises. I'll see if they are still there. My friend Patty and I went over there and dug up a whole crap load a couple years ago and we mixed them all up and dug them out of different areas of the yard and somehow she ended up with all White and I had all yellow, lol. She had asked us not to take the colors you wanted because they were still blooming. They had planned to widen the driveway and I forgot about them until now. I hope they didn't bulldoze them. I have a really cool one blooming I have never seen before. Its white with lavender veins and the petals all recurve down then a few tiny petals stick up out of the center. Never seen anything like it. I don't know if its one I bought or one Michelle gave me. Its really cool and the water irises were too. I have a pic of them but I don't see one of the odd iris. I'll have to make sure I get one tomorrow before it dies. I could have sworn I took one. Pet the babies for me and give them a squeeze. I want to pet one every time I look at them, lol. I hope I get over this sinus crap by tomorrow so I can do some work on my plants. I need to strip leaves bad. Something is making them have white spots all over them and they look aweful.

Karyn I just love your peonies! My mom used to grow the biggest bushes. they were HUGE. I have ONE planted since last spring but all that ever comes up is one set of leaves.

You made me go look at your nails rofl. I was glad that I woke up at 2 am yesterday and could not fall back asleep. The balloon from mothers day got into the running fan and woke me up, sounding like a darn machine gun. could not fall back asleep. So I got up and did my nails. Little did I know then, that I would go out and eat lunch in Austin with my son while we were waiting for his new tires to get mounted onto the rims. So I did not have to hide my nails this time lol But I believe all we gardeners know exactly how this happens lol

Besides...we don't come here to look at nail pictures ...we focus on the cute stuff lol Which your pics are just WOW again!

Those peonys are just lovely, I especially love the white with a tiny bit of red and the pink and white one! The babies are so sweet, I didn't notice your nails ⺠I've not grown Voodoo Lily, those leaves are cool looking. Is the second to last picture a peony bud?

The second to last pic is a baby persimmon. This is the first year my tree produced fruit and the deer ate almost all the branches. I went out this am to spray the stinky repellant and the wind changed and blew it back on me. I started gagging and immediately jumped in the shower.

Some of the peonies have been in the same place for 15 years and the bushes are ginormous. I don't divide them unless I want to move them somewhere. I have a few hundred planted at the farm. I didn't go up to look but DH said he cut most of them yesterday anyway. That's why they are there but I still get sad when he cuts them. lol He's tried to sneak some out of the yard and that's a big no no. My gardens at home are off limits!!!!

Lucy it's a good thing you got that balloon out. That's happened here and it burned up the motor. Thank goodness it didn't start a fire.

Karyn, what fantastic plants. I love that bearded iris; o.k. well I love all the plants! I have several bearded irises, but most are noids that I got as baby irises from a lady up north. Only one from that group bloomed, so I am hoping next year they will really take off.
