Happy Dance- it's over!!

The tax season is over and we are packing to go to the Florala RU to see some brug folks and then go hang @ the beach! I am so over it with taxes......and ready to party!!

Kylie- I am still up-potting my brug seedlings, taking a break to type this- does that count. Only 60 more to go!!

Gary, I got a smile on my face from all the joy in photos you shared today .......... and always!

Lucy, thank you for the wonderful special Easter wishes.

Shawn, now you've done it- I'm jealous, I want arborea so bad. Hope JT has one for me this weekend. Congrats, you lucky dog!

Chocolate brug aka Chocula- I like your style with brugs!! I wanna see lots and lots of photos this season as you get full swing in your newbie year!

Kristy, Mike, Karyn, Therese, and the rest of the gang, I'll come back from Florida refueled and ready to get back into my old brug groove.

Brenda... glad to hear that you will finally have time for yourself. I'm sitting outside with my laptop, looking at, and smelling the sweet fragrance of, blooms on Charles Grimaldi and Gemini... thanks to you!

Oh, congrats! I love it when the roses show up too! I only have one small order of mini/minifloras coming this year. And not until April because normally that's when I can plant. Of course if I'd asked for them in March we'd probably have been buried in snow!!!

Alison, that was a VERY creative and clever theme! My favorite is also 'Why? Because you wanted one and 2 are okay." I personally have (ahem) 5 wood and 2 plastic. And yes, the first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. Just make sure you're not cutting alone too often or people will start talking. I too love The Tassajara Bread Book! Thank you all for the kind words! I am SO happy to have finally found my little marble for baking area. It's not very big...but it weighs a TON :) The dresser is wonderful, too. I love the green knobs! We're thinking a slightly lighter shade is what we'll paint the walls, but only the top 1/3 or so. We're thinking about creamy white, painted beadboard on the lower 2/3. Not sure about the rest, but we want something easy to clean, but still pretty with some floral (and bunny) plates displayed against the green!

No island for me, kitchen isn't big enough but we do have a negative reveal undermount sink....SOOOO much better and cleaner than the old overmounted. I used to take a toothpick to the seam between the sink and counter to get the "gunk" out. We have had the sink installed and working for well over a year and have yet to encounter gunk...I wipe down the tiny little lip between the sink and edge of sink reveal a couple times a week with my dish cloth...not a problem at all.

Yes!!! We get our Brenda back! Hey.....if JT doesn't have one for you, his site says he will have more in May. You still have an arborea seedling, right? None of mine sprouted but I am not throwing them away. I will dump them outside when I take the brugs out and hope they sprout. I have other seedlings popping up in some of my seedling pots, so now I do believe that seeds can take a while to sprout! Good to have you back!!!!

Wow Brenda! Your tax return must have really been a difficult one to do this year! LOL!

Or should I assume you DO taxes for other people?

We sent ours out again this year. Too hard and too much time. Let the Pros do it, I say!
