You ordered bare root plants and got cuttings without even any white nubby things?
I would be highly upset. I think some of them may be ok, but the ones in the center look as though they've had a real bad trip. I hope they do well for you.

Who the heck did you buy these from??? Bare root means .. Gee I removed the pot and some of the soil.. NOT I sent you a unrooted cuttings..I would check my info and make sure they didn't say cuttings...If Bare root was what it was I would be raisin the Devil!!!I want my $ back and if you want these sticks come pick them up...LOL

ibartoo I did what Karma recommended. They are on top of the fridge already and I cross my fingers.
chena I double checked the order too not just rely on the paper I printed out when I ordered. But to be fair I wrote the company a mail just now. Because I hate to hold a crutch against anybody and I rather believe it was a mix up on accident between what they offer. The cutting and bare root brugs.
In the meantime I just watch the other ones that came....and my Dats seedlings grow. Cause man the weather right now sure makes them grow faster already.

So you tell me what does double root mean.. Coz I don't know.. May be something I need to know!!Always looking for a new way to do things.. There is so much out there I could learn..

The ones that are wilting, in fact just do it with all of them, toss them into a bowl of water overnight to let them soak up as much water all over as they can, then stick them to root.

BTW, those are pretty nice sized cuttings. They should do well for you. I need to correct myself after looking at the picture larger. Just recut the bottoms and put the two in the middle in a container of water and let them float overnight.

Here's Karma's post and in parenthesis, I've added what I believe to be the missing words: "(For the) Double (white brug cuttings, you can) root in soil with bottom heat(,) not (in) water. (If you have) No bottom heat (, i.e., heat mat,) then put (the cuttings) up on the (top of the) refridg but don't forget (them).

Hey, I know you can't ready a German's mind?? LOL Sorry!! Doubles, Triples, Sangs. and variegated root in soil with bottom heat. Sorry I was in a hurry after spending a day in the yard. Feeding, mowing, spraying and giving the dog a bath beside cleaning the house and laundry. I even had some time to put something on the website. ; )

I was confused too, lol. I wanted to know how to double root also, lol. The limp ones you can put a plastic bag over them with some kind of support to add humidity. I did this for one of mine and it firmed back up.

wow thanks everybody. Now I know so many ways trying to revive brug cuttings if this ever happens again. Or if the method from Karma does not work I will go on to the next tip.
