Hey yall I have missed everybody sooooo much,it has been a rough few months.I had to have surgey,we lost Mom,that has been so very hard and still is.I wake up every morning and look out the window to see if her lights are on,I still find myself wanting to call her to check on her or to ask her if she needs anything.

So here I am needing my GW friends again and all the prayers I can get.Love you guys

Now what have I missed?

Awe Bonnie I am so sorry. I haven't called you in a while and didn't know all that was going on. You haven't missed much here and a lot of people have been having trouble getting on GW. Please call if you need to talk. You know I love to yack, lol. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Love you bunches!

"just because it is colder in Iowa doesn't mean it is colder everywhere else." Oh, How true. March 8th my wife and I left Iowa for an extended stay in Florida to try and get warm. Eastern Iowa had been in a cycle of Rain, Ice, Snow every 3-4 days since before Christmas. We just wanted to go south and get warm!!! We hit tennessee day after they got smashed by a blizzard. Went on to Gatlinburg, there it was 50-55. Went to Savanah Ga. It was 60 and rain there. Went down to Venice Fl. 60 and high wind. Couldn't dive because water was so turbulent you couldn't see your guages. Ft. Lauderdale and Deerefield Beach wind off the ocean was 40+ mph and temp not above 60 or so. Went over to Freeport Grand Bahamas for 6 days. Temp never got above 65 most of the time it was 50-55 and rain 4 days out of 6 it rained and had high wind. Tryed diving one morning and the waves came up so badly once we were out and underwater, the dive master came down and called us in and it was almost impossible to get back on the boat as the boat was rocking in 6-8' seas. 21 days gone and only a couple of them did we see 70+ temps. Got back to Iowa and we went right back into the winter rain ice snow cycle and we are still in it right now minus the snow. Still cold enough to freeze outside some nights yet. I just want to be warm. I will gladly put up with 90+ temps and 90% humidity. I am tired of being cold. I would like to break a sweat for a change. Lol, I'm glad you all enjoyed the video and yes my husband was dreadfully encouraging her until he realized she was going to take out all his bait for fishing the next day, lol. She didn't eat them she just liked to catch them. My other dog likes to eat them. They love those denta stix from pedigree and they do get snacks, lol. When I first got my tropical fish tank it took her months to quit smashing her nose into the tank trying to catch them. She is a full blooded doberman but John didn't have the heart to get her ears cut when she was a pup and she is getting fat with old age and the tumor in her belly. That is the perkiest I had seen her in a long time. She is on some new medication and it seems to be making her feel a lot more frisky. I don't know why but fish and flashlight beams drive here insane, lol.

I hope that the Club P Disney World 2010 event will draw some other pool builders from the forum. I'd love to meet some of you guys and girls, in person, in an element where you can just take your shoes off and enjoy each others company. Note to all builders, If you utilize the Polaris/Jandy product and save the points you'll never regret a Club P affair. I've been to a ton of them and have always had a fantastic time. No matter where we go we're in a great resort and treated like royalty. They spare no expense on the trip for their dealers. What I love is the fact that I get to ride locations I'd of never ridden in my life if I was footing the bill. See ya, Kelly

Unfortunately, the Houzz FAQs aren't very useful for the basics. (I'm writing one up and will post it eventually - at least as it pertains to Kitchens). However, there is a "Computer Help" GW Forum that might be able to help. Did you try refreshing the page after signing out (even though it was still spinning)? Do you have a password manager that automatically logs you in to a site when you open it? If so, change the setting for Houzz/GW in the password manager. What browser are you using? It works for me in Firefox & Chrome. . Don't apologize - if you're having issues, others are as well!

Bonnie it is heartbreaking to read that your heart and thoughts ache for your mom so much. I do not spend much time thinking about that moment when it will come for me. My mom has always been my everything and only person I could always talk to. I know the loss you are feeling can not comfort you with any words. So prayers are goint out for you. You've come to the right place to get comfort and hugs. Just remember that your mom is ALWAYS with you. In your heart!!! In your memories. You keep her alive.

it'll get less difficult eventually... just take it one day at a time. it's all you can do :\ and I agree with what lucy said - keep her alive in your memories! :)

Amen to givelittle getlots, and now time does not make it better to me it just makes it bearable, and yes your mom will always be with you! I just lost mine this January. And still find myself wanting to call her or stop by to check in on her, My condolences to you I will add you to my prayers. May you take solace in the fact that you got to enjoy your mom all the time while she was here on this earth. God Bless and do take care of yourself.

Dear Bonnie, so sorry for all you have been going through. I pray your health issues are all behind you now. Of course, losing your mom is not something you can gets over quickly, and sometimes not at all. But, in time the pain of this loss will subside. Carry your mom in your heart, and treasure all those memories.

Bonnie the MIA folks are either real busy in the gardens Or they found a new home at WOB :-) I said 2 years ago that I will never move again so it also goes for the home I found here online lol. That does not mean that I like to go on vacations and browse around ha ha ha

Oh, Bonnie, what a sad time you had over the winter. So sorry that you lost your mom.
