But I really want to see what this orange one looks like. Not sure it will bloom this year, but I can always hope. There's already a 'y' on the cutting. Plus we have a long summer ahead of us.

Dola,Dbl white NOID,AQ and Berk are the ones that really embraced the heat and put on a show.. MEM.. was another one.. If you have the chance to grow any of these here You will not be dissapointed.. I have had Painted Lady for several yrs.. It has never bloomed.. I am still holding out hope before I trash it.. It has finally Y'd we'll see..LOL
My biggest hope are for the ones not seen yet..SEEDLINGS!!!

It does have very dark,large tropical looking leaves. Yes it does start out white and darkens to an Apricot/orange.

Wow it looks like a creamsickle...Orange and white..Geez I hope your getting cuttings for this one...I would love to trade something on it..It looks to have a lot of flowers too...Are the leaves fuzzy also..I love it.. :)

I'm looking forward to my New Orleans Lady finally blooming, she's got about 2 dozen buds on her right now, so I'm hoping the wait will soon be over. This will be her first flush.

Velvet Rose was a new addition this year, so I'm eagerly awaiting that one, though I won't expect a flush until next year, most likely.

I'm still waiting for xeriscape8321 to make his cross between Harlot and Mon Amour du Mariel available to the general public... I have to figure out a way to be first in that line!!

Volkie is a very nice new introduction by Liz Fichl. Liz is a good friend of mine and has produced some top notch brugs. Good luck in getting Volkie. I believe the one that just sold on ebay was the first one she offered.

Nice to meet ya rosepedal. Phoenix thanks for the nod on my new Harlot x Mon Amour. It's still too early to pass judgement on her yet I need to see a true flush before I will give her the final release. I have several more seedling that will be blooming for the first time within the next couple of months. One cross, Peanut x Rothkirch has me really excited. I sure hopes she pans out. She definitely has the genes behind her to produce something nice....but I've seen my share of disappointments with seedlings. All you can do is start with good stock parents, feed them well and hope for the best!

Thanks Xeriscape that is great advice. I wish you the best with her...I have my first seedlings growing in the gh..I took pictures of them and posted them over on the BGI Forum. There is nothing more exciting than growing your own along with the hyb. person... Shoot I will be jumping up and down like you probably when I see my first flowers....

I will be really excited if anyone gets the MM x NOL seeds to bloom, well.....because I made them and that was really exciting. And plus all of the other seedlings too.
NOL was really exciting to see bloom, looking forward to that one again. Also hoping to see NN bloom this year, grew really tall before it Yed and didn't have a chance to get buds. And I would like to see an Adeline bloom too, it just looks so huge and full in the pics I've seen, and of course Dola, the mites caused the buds to drop last year :(

Oh and Gary you are so right about the stock parents. DH and I WERE both gorgeous looking at one time. I fed the kids home made food and now they all are wonderful good looking adults...We did our share of hoping for the best and in the end....all the efford we put into them. Paid off.

Shawn we posted at the same time. How many brugs do you have now? I believe you that your OWN x seedlings are the most special to anybody to grow out.

Xeriscape what a gorgeous brug! Like dancing ladies with multilayered petticoats! I am most looking forward to the little Heloise I bought last fall growing and flowering. I know what all my others look like, Heloise will be my first yellow.

Lucy I have no clue how many I have now. Too many though. I think I may have to start editing this fall and leaving the ones that I am not crazy about outside. Plus not ask for so many cutting in the fall. I think I will decide on a few that I MUST have and try not to get too many.
I know I have at least 40 seedlings in the kitchen window, but there are plenty more under lights in another room. As far as cuttings and grown plants, I haven't counted yet.
