No Milkweed Pests

For the first time I can remember in at least 20 years nothing is eating my milkweeds. I have several different varieties, hardy and tropical, including some vining milkweeds. Some attract more insects then others but nothing has been touched this season. I usually get terrible infestations of Swamp Milkweed beetles, aphids and Milkweed bugs, especially on my A. tuberosa but so far my plants are clean as can be and I don't use any insecticides. I haven't seen any Monarch or Milkweed Tussock Caterpillars either but it's not uncommon to see them a bit later in the season here. I have plenty of other caterpillar and insect varieties on host plants but not on the asclepias. It's unusual. Has anyone else noticed this?
