At less both Grandsons got up in good moods. Even got kisses. :)
They are 13 and 15 and it can be a nightmare getting them off to school!

And a bright (yellow) sunny day to you too Lucy! Yep, soon your cannas will be blooming their pretty heads off. Yesterday, I saw that my Green Goddess were blooming! Thing is that they are only about a foot tall where usually they are about 3' tall when they bloom!

Dorothy thank you for the additional hug. It made me make it through the day. You caught me ha ha ha I could say I just wanted to brighten the day everywhere you look lol. But truth is, I wanted to post a reply message. Went and got my coffee and did a few things. Then I thought I was in my NEW posting a message thread lol.

Barb it would just break my heart if we get a freeze now. Afer I was done with all the garden work. I got the camera and started taking pictures. Everything just looks so great already. Oh man wait until you see how the Amaryllis from you grew already!!!

I hope every one had a wonderful day!!!! I have been busy, lots going on.Trying to get my daughter thru graduation then off to school. Have been doing the spring clean up in the yard. The folks that had my house before me planted 3 bushes that I wanted gone. One was a 20 foot privot, now if I can just kill the stump. The other 2 were clayera and I am digging up their stumps, very slow process. Got one out hopefully can get the other out tomorrow. (wish me luck!!)

I wish you luck Mary. Of course you should have done that on St patty's day rofl When we moved into this house the whole back yard was filled with way to many Oak trees. We went through one chainsaw after another lol The stumps are mostly STILL there ha ha ha But since I got back, I am hacking away on them every year a little and I must say that there are not many left.

Hey Lucy pretty cannas. Mine are starting to come up too. I have a clematis that I had never seen bloom before out front. Its really pretty. Gonna try to get a pic before work. Got a new neighbor behind us and he bought the house. He is kind of wierd but plans to plant a veggie garden so maybe he isn't all bad, lol. I heard him cussing my dogs last night and calling them little "B" words because they were playing and barking. I brought Patties dog home with me to play after a good visit at her house. Nobody got bit by birds or cats and left the rabbits alone pretty much, lol. Maybe its just his wife doesn't like the dogs barking because they have a new born. They will have to get over it. After work is their playtime and are gone all day long at work with us so they will have to live with it for an hour or so every evening. Gotta get my grass cut for the first time this year. It just started growing and he shamed me, lol. Gonna get that little corner done with the privacy fence now if I have to dig the holes myself, lol. Then he won't have to look at my yard when I get it pretty again. Its amazing how it transforms during the summer but I guess it looks pretty ratty right now.

Kristy you were there FIRST lol. I hope that he will turn out to be a great neighbor...you know...moving stress. A new baby. I am sure Dave can fill us in again how that goes lol

No its the house that only has the little piece of fence attached to ours in the corner behind the shed. I mowed after work with the riding mower, the push mower and John weed eated and blew all the grass clippings up. After all that noise he probably would rather hear the dogs play, lol. Had to go put a battery in one of the kids friends car that was here visiting her mom and she got stuck on the road. I just got home so gotta shower and I'll check with you all tomorrow. Hopefully the neighbor will settle down and be nice. This is a good neighborhood so maybe he will be happy when they get settled.
