I am glad we don't have PS2 at my house I have heard so many people being addicted.....speaking of addictions I have gotten addicted to facebook, ok I will admit I am addicted. We got 10inches of snow here, that is very unusual for us. Rob built a snowman in the back yard, the dogs destroyed it then peed on on it so when I woke up today there was a lump of yellow snow in the yard. Ok so I am bored also, tired of listening to my crazy patient, I am so glad I will be off tomorrow!!!

Daniella sorry you have to worry about DH and can not sleep. YES I am to OLD for that stuff. Kids always had those game stations but I hate the sounds they make with a passion. Then when young I was scared if I play them I get hooked and do nothing but play play play.

yuck.....when we were kids we used to love catching snowflakes with our open mouth. Eat the snow off the ground when newly fallen. Well needless to say with all the enviormental mess...I would not do it anymore. But it sounds like that just making a snowman is so much fun that just goes along with snowfall.

Well I guess Daniella is finally sleeping!!!! I just got up, checked in on facebook, and now here. The dogs are tired of the snow and all sleeping. I have never been any good at video games so I have not been addicted, but talking and keeping up with friends on Facebook that is another story!!! And as far as work goes,I just had to vent. My nephew just turned three this past weekend, he can kick anyone's butt in the Wii. Super Mario party. He's so cute, he actually trash talks you. Gets up in your face and says "You're goin' down!" AND HE MEANS IT!!!

How do you think I felt? I TRIED to win, and lost to a two year old (he was two when I last visited, three now).

One thing I really commend his parents on, they don't use the Wii as a babysitter. They only get to play it when the whole family is together.

Its obvious even at this young age, this kid is going to be a multi-sport jock when he grows up. Its just an innate ability he has, with great hand/eye coordination.

Well, I ALMost beat it on Medium now..I just can't win the battle with Lou..last one and I am done on Medium level. The final battle song is 'the devil went down to georgia' I let my son try so I could give my fingers a rest, and of course he beat it, lol. I'll try again tonight.

Ryan, thats how my son has always been too. He got his first system at 2, and it was like 2nd nature to him right off the bat. Thats good they dont let him play it whenever he wants, it can be so addictive. My youngest daughter who is 5 is the same way, man can she talk some crap! I hope she doesnt do that to other kids when she starts kindergarten, lol.

Lenette, I have Guitar Hero III..do you know if the first two easier or do they just have dif songs? I have to figure out how to download songs onto it..I saw there was a place for that in the game. You play with your daughter? My son and I play together..we named our band 'Bad Bob', lol I dont know why..

The first guitar hero is hard to play because the hammer ons and pulloffs you have to hold the button down longer. The 3 rd is prob hardest tho. in terms of difficulty. Otherwise the songs are all just different on all of them. We have x-box 360 for GH3, and GH World Tour. Then GH 1, 2, and the GH Rocks the 80's for ps2. I haven't got the Aerosmith yet. Metallica comes out at the end of the month~whoohoo. Gonna get that one for sure lol!

lol Rigo..get your own system for your room!! We have PS3's in every room, XBox 360's in every room..the kids each have their own PS2's and Gamecubes as well. My son is the only one with a Wii though. That way there is no fighting over who wants to play what when. You know how kids are..they see one doing something then they all wanna do it. This way we can avoid some whining, lol. They do play nice when they play together though.

It's funny cuz I have been bugging the kids for awhile now when we go to the store for games, I'd say..'hey dont ya want Guitar Hero?' I dont have any plant games..last game I was addicted to b4 this one was Resistance:Fall Of Man, and Call of Duty 3 or 4? One of the COD's has this little mini game after you beat the game, with zombies that I was totally addicted to. My son and I play alot together.
He likes to play with me cuz then theres no set time limit..only breaks, lol. He doesnt have to hear me say..times up dude..OFF!

I've been playing it for awhile so I can do expert on some...I can't do expert on anything past Slipknot! LOL!!
My oldest son can almost do Dragonforce all the way through on expert. That's the hardest one ever, have you tried that one?
I will prob. never be able to Dragonforce on 'Expert' or even 'Hard' LOL, its practically impossible. I think I'm getting repetitive motion (Carpal Tunnel) probs due to video games lol.

lol Lenette, I know, my hands kill me for like 30-40 minutes after I'm done playing, but I do play for a couple hours at a time. ANd after I am done my eyes go all wacky for a couple minutes..everything I look at looks like its moving, lol.

I'm gonna start on hard today. I was perfecting some songs last night on medium..I think I am ready to attempt hard.

My son is pretty good at 'through fire and flame', but I'm sure he'll do much better once he has more time to do it. I suck at it, lol. I can't see how people can do it! We watched a youtube video of a kid doing it 100% on expert and I was amazed. Seems totally impossible!! Then again even medium seemed impossible to me when I first picked up that guitar last week, lol. Did you master Dragonforce on medium??

I thought I was ready for hard..but man, I got a 90 on "Slow Ride", and cant even get past the 1st chorus of "talk dirty to me"..I think I'll keep practicing on Medium for another day or so. Only have a couple songs left to perfect that are under 95%

Rock band is even better than GH :) You have 2 guitars, drums, and a singer. I always get stuck singing on that one and I hate it. Its not that I sing good..the boys just don't want to and if my dd isn't home and their friends don't want to...then I get stuck doing it LOL! The drum noise (tap tap tap) is really annoying unless you are playing though. If you are playing then you don't notice it as much I guess.
