SDCSS Sale plants Feb 2013 now up

Okay...sale plant album is ready & uploaded to Picasa. See link below. Didn't take as many pix this year, as I did more yakking than usual...and made a new friend...Reggie! It was a pleasure to meet you, Reggie! We had fun at the show!

I showed MUCH restraint...buying only TWO cartjumpers & 1 ceramic pot. =)

Weird-it's making all lower case. Are CAPITAL letters not allowed now? Oops, now caps are back. :P

Glad all you folks are enjoying the pix!- Sorry I wasn't back sooner, but I was waiting for e-mail notification & hadn't gotten any. THEN I figured out it was because I had to use a different EM addy because this site said my other was being used. Yes, by ME! So I forget to check the other that I hardly use. Oops! Thanks for naming those 2 plants, Jordi! Did you guys see Jordi in the pix? I have put names on the other ones asked about -I am guessing on the one -I thought was a Euphorbia (click again to see). Yes, Brad...you need to get E. cante to pair w/your Dudleya! :D Sellers for the Haworthia: sm. ones, John Matthews; lg ones by Cactus Data Plants & Desert Creations The white pot was from Sara's Pots & I believe it was a ceramic cereal bowl in its previous life. =D BTW, the 4 earthy pots were all made by Don Hunt (Ceramics). Thanks, Jeff! Ooo, oh no, the 4-letter white word? Brrr! Keep bundled up & warm! It remains to be seen how many of these lovelies go in pots & how many I PIG. Our whole front yard is being reworked & I now have "permission" to make it a succulent haven! Need to think about how to get around (design it for) our occasional flooding prob. I also have to consider what to plant that might catch the eye of a possible thief (we have had attempts in the past). Also, what our creepy mailman won't step on (on purpose) if he thinks it's in his path (until he retires, anyway).

Gardenfiend, I see you have already received it, but just to let you know, I just found your PM and it says "the member has chosen not to reveal her email address therefore you cannot reply to this message via email," and there is an address shown in the Reply field, but I know it's not you--it's another RMG person and I have NO idea how their address got there! The same person has shown up in Reply on previous PMs from GW, so I don't know if that means something isn't working right for me again (several years back PMs from GW didn't work at all for me!) or if this is happening to other folks too! Glad someone else was able to get thru to you! [And I don't use texting--ever! It's disabled on my Dumb Phone!] Misty/Sugar, I have a BIG pile of 'Blue Spruce' cuttings I'm bringing! Thanks for the info Mara. Anyone know of such a service in San Antonio that is being offered by Natural Gardener? I guess the Ag. extension agency is one, but not sure how responsive they are. I took something once and never heard back. I'd rather have an on the spot ID. Still working on IDing them myself with a 10 power jewelers loop. Also I'm interested in clumping bamboos if anyone sees some 'on' sale and even 'for' sale. I haven't been able to find where chilli thrips have infested bamboos on the internet. Or maybe someone has some to share. A bamboo club used to set up at Vivabotanica. Anybody here a member and know if they will do so next year?

Yakking with me kept you from those cart jumpers! HAHA. So cool to meet face to face instead of just seeing people on the forums.

Was wondering if Peter W. would know whose mesemb dish garden that was. Isn't he the guy that runs the show??? Can't believe I didn't look. It was at the very end so my brain must have been full by then.

Yes, it's possible Peter W. would know. Not sure if he ran the show this year. I asked Jordi if he knows, or maybe Mark F. knows. Yes, on brain overload by that time! I'm surprised I could still form sentences!! Ha ha!

Oh boy! If I had plant lust before, it's now much worse. I was just drooling over these photos! We don't have much in terms of plant shows in the Northeast, at least that I can find. Thanks so much for sharing!

Great shots, Ro! Thanks for making the album and bringing us the live experience. Wow, it's a good thing I didn't go, they would have taken all my money! Hahaha, no, I think I'd have to provide myself with a certain amount of cash and that would be it.
Haven't had much time for posting these last few days, busy busy. I'm in line at the DMV at the moment. It's almost my turn! Gotta go, bye!
