I sent her an email yesterday. I was thinking the same thing. Haven't heard back from her. I hope she isn't sick.

Thats wierd she is usually here every day. I hope everything is ok. I have been on less than usual lately so I wasn't really paying attention but now that you mention it she hasn't posted in a while. Let us know if you hear from her.

I can just add that me too was missing her yesterday and wanted to mention it in the POTD but then I have not read very many postings so I thought maybe I just missed hers.

AWWW Bob I bet you are right.. I talked with her last week and she had popsickle toes.. Hopefuly she is basking in the warm Florida sun and shop shop shopin!!!

I'm around, just haven't been online or even inside much. The weather has been beautiful and I've been taking advantage of it. I'm not leaving for FL until the 25th. Bob I got your email and will get back to you. If you are going to be in town and we have time I'd love to meet. Unfortunately we are flying instead of driving so no plant shopping for me while there : ( It's still in the 60's but might rain this afternoon so I'll probably get online to catch up after I get back from the hair dresser. I'll be in a nasty mood after that because it takes 4 hours to do my hair and I can't stand sitting there but the alternative isn't pretty. lol

Karyn, so glad to hear from you! 4 hours! What the heck do you get done. I'm sitting here with color on mine, 45 minutes, done!The gray makes automatic hilights when colored. lol Try to relax while you're at the hairdressers. I just read "Twilight", really good. Wish I had the time this week to start the second book in the series. Have a great time in Florida!

Theresa I wish it only took 45 minutes. Just getting a touch up takes over an hour for me. First I get the roots done then she does the rest of the base color. Next is highlights, then lowlights then cut and dry. I have long thick hair and wrapping the foil takes such a long time. I'm not sure what's worse, the cost or the time but I only have the whole works done every few months. The rest of the time I just get touch ups. I've tried doing it myself....not good and I've tried less expensive salons but wasn't happy with the results. I'll just sit there drink a couple glasses of wine and hopefully fall asleep. lol

Teresa, I read all the Twilight books and loved them. I bought them for my dd and ended up reading them myself lol! Then my dd dragged me to the Twilight movie which of course was not as good as the book sigh...

I really like the Sookie Stackhouse series vampire books too (Author: Charlaine Harris). I started reading them awhile ago and they are definitely juicier than the Twilight books (older age-group) but they are much less racy than the HBO series they made from them (True Blood) :)
'Dead Until Dark' is the first one, there is 8 or 9 of them total now I think. Beware they are super addictive:P

I'm glad you are ok Karyn. Did you get my email? I wanted to know if any of the cuttings you sent me are ones that you lost so I can try and make another set. I'll keep the baby cuttings and send you back the rooted ones. My daughter read that Twighlight book too and loved it. She wants the rest of the series so I need to look on half.com and see if they have them. She doesn't mind if they are used and are much cheaper there if there are a lot of them being read and not something just released. Patty gave me the first book since Morgan took hers home with her when she left but haven't had time to read it yet. Karyn good luck with the hair appt. You are so right if you find someone to do your hair the way you want you better stick with them.

Taking advantage of good weather for gardening is a good reason to stay off the computer Karyn! Glad that was the reason for being MIA.

Lenette, haven't read the Twilight series, but we bought them for my GD. She read the first one from a friend and said she loved it so we got her several more for Christmas. If ever I find time, I will borrow them from her, but I have stacks and stacks of gardening magazines and Prevention mag to go through so we'll see.
