Asters as host/nectar plants

I had never planted Asters, that I recall at least. However, I found some white, pink, and purple ones at Wal-Mart this week. Since we are replanting our two bed areas in the front of the house, I decide to buy a dozen to plant around a tree where there is little shade.

My info says that Asters can be host plant for Pearly Crescentspots and that they can also be nectar plants. I know these are probably not the native asters but do you thik they will host the Crescents? It really doesn't matter if they do or not, just curious. I haven't ever seen Crescents in my yard anyway.
