First Polydamas of the season, eggs too!

I saw my first Polydamas of the season yesterday, hanging around my jasimine, which last year had Pipevine growing through it. She didn't look to be a freshly emerged butterfly so my guess is she traveled here. I am saying she since I also found some eggs on my vine. I am glad to see her but hope that I can keep enough vine for the numbers that ususally show up.

Also am seeing quite a few Gulf Frit cats, not many butterflies, on my Incense Passionvine. Its not in bloom yet but lots of new growth.

Saw a couple large Monarch cats late last week. Guess they are big enough now to be in chrysalis.

Guess things are starting up slowly. Just hoping for my ZLWs to return in numbers this year, healthy and happy.
