Good morning.

My DH just said thank god it's friday and I had the title for today lol

It has been a long and busy week. For me the WE starts with Madison. Continues on Saturday with hauling the plants in the shed and ends on Sunday praying that it will be the last cold night. Just so I can start the new week with hauling them back out.

What are YOU doing this WE?

Same time planted. Same watering. Same light and yet : Different.

The beauty of it all. How boring would the world be if everything was the same.

Good morning! I just saw my hubby and son off to the Atlanta airport for a trip to NY and Canada. So, I'm up, first cup of coffee.

Hey, I recognize that cross!! Hope you get some great blooms from those seedlings. I have a few of those myself! LOL! Yours are off to a great start!

But what I really like to know...what are a FEW of those for you? ha ha ha

I really love that plant. It turned into a big tree. I took a cutting but don't know if it rooted but it doesn't look dead so maybe its ok. Had to work today am beat as well but Lucy is doing better and John was really behind on the paperwork so I had to go in and catch up.

Thank you for checking them out and I knew this would inspire you! Yes I love to be out in the gardens and could spend all day out there, it's a passion that has bloomed. Plantlover49, you really don't want to know the numbers out there and know they have their own special house that they share with the orchid cactus. fool4flowers, that is Blue Girl which got huge this past year. All I did with that shot is hit the reduce the noise and that is what you see. I have another one that everyone wants cuttings of called Love Potion that is really pretty with the pink and red edges. Two more weeks and we will be cutting roses back!

Siam to be honest...I had to move it a lot to find the right place. Did not grow very much or tall at all. But it was the first year plant so next winter this one will come in the house and gets to stay alive lol. Let me go find a picture where you can see the yellow skirt that is yellow before it opens and turns white. LUcy

Shawn I think the angels are blooming because they know they have a job to do. Making the wintery days of so many a little brighter. It is just amazing how LONG the blooms last now. On this one it seams that each blossom is different. I love it. I think I read that it is a slow grower but I could be wrong. Deb the little angel came in the mail yesterday from my sister. on the bottom she wrote...1000 kisses. I am homesick now. Everybody said I was angel and I really miss my co workers and friends a LOT. Thank goodness for all the angels that remind me of beautiful memories. Eloise I was hungry this morning lol. Since I hate to eat alone ...I figured I invite you all to join me ;-) Linda so happy you liked it. Theresa you are last. Cause I just do not know what to say but brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it even LOOKS cold hahahahaha Now that is ONE thing I do not miss about my former job. A glorious morning to all! Lucy, you just have the magic (plant loving) touch; those seedlings look great!

What am I doing this weekend? I am torn between two places I want to go; one is a tropical plant sale and the other is a yard sale from a home makeover tv show! Also, I have been wanting to go to this swap meet looking for fruit trees. Should I go on about what I am doing this weekend, LOL!

Brenda, hope your hubby and son have a wonderful trip, and you get to relax some.

I am sitting on some road cases, in the desert, outside of Tucson. Got my camera, lighting and sound gear set up, waitng to shoot an interview, with the Saguaro (sp?) Cactus and mountains in the background. A beautiful morning.

Your seedlings look great, Lucy. What was the date that you started them? I can only see 2008 in the pic.

Hey everyone,
I started some new canna seeds today, cant wait for them to sprout up. My brugmansia edna, mountain magic, and carousel are growing but a bit slow. I hope i get some blooms soon! Oh and the waterlily i posted a pic of, it is finally sending out a shoot!!!
Tomorrow I have to repot some oldfashioned chrysanthemums, and thats about it.

Kristy are you doing it in the kitchen or is your GH ready to go? Are you only doing brugs?

Bob it would be scary if you could see the rest of the date lol...I meant to add the date. Sorry. 11 Dec 08. Oh that sounds like you are going to have a gorgeous background for the interview.

Eloise you need to clone yourself so you can hit all 3 places at once lol It sounds like you are going to have a ball!!

I will get ready in a minute for Maddy. But I finally uninstalled the stupid Norton and now searching for AVG antivirus program. I sure hope it works or I am really in trouble.
